Jerry does not understand that a GM should not be a fan
Well said.Jerry will do everything to win but get out of the way.

If we were only so lucky..No once else think it looked like he had a stroke ?
Despite his "Jocks and Socks" approach, he does want to win, albeit in the most arcane manner.I'm sure Jerry wants to win. I'm positive that he's elated to see his team post an even record at this formative stage of the season.
This is an extremely happy day for the fans as well as the owner. It's truly an appropriate time to celebrate a much-needed victory.
The argument about Jerry not caring is stupid. Damn right he wants to win.
To their own demise. The "argument" was never about Jerry wanting to win. The debate is and always has been about whether or not he is willing to do what it takes to win. Jerry has said many times that if he wasn't the owner, he would have been fired as GM a long time ago. So, sure Jerry wants to win but there is a qualification....... he has to be front, center, and the most important guy in the room.

No. Thats not what I am referencing. I am speaking about those who believe Jerry only cares about putting butts in seats. That has been said on here, and I find it to be ridiculous.
I mean, it’s not a very effective illustration if that argument suggests winning is paramount to these people, but ok. Folks are generally happy on these occasions. And good for Jerry, because, you know, life is swell for the Jones family.
You are correct, He wants to win BUT only if he gets 100% of the credit for it. Jerry the GM is horrible, Jason the HC is terrible and a yes man, the team is basically mediocre year in and year out yet Jerry spews his SB talk and crazy comparisons. Jerry wants to win, but as we all see his way doesn't work so he gets all the credit for the failure teams he has fielded the 20 odd years. If Jerry really wants to win he will step back and hire a GM and let the GM hire a a good HC and supporting staff. Jerry's ego is so large he has to feed it daily, he really is a pathetic figure.Jerry wants to be given the credit for building a Super Bowl team more than he wants to win.He wants to be given center stage so he can explain to everyone just how he, Jerry Jones, is the person most responsible for winning. Being the owner who hired the real architect isn't good enough,he has to be acknowledged as that architect. If he could get away with it, he would take credit as the Head Coach in addition to GM and owner. If you catch him on the right day, his interviews have fewer "we"'s and far more "I"'s.
