Yes, our standards are pretty low.

I think the ship has sailed and there's no going back, but I can't exactly say we've been better off without him. I didn't really think we would be, though.

If he had been cut for salary vs. production alone, we might could work something out, but the route issues and the demanding personality issues outweigh any ability he has left.

I don't see how you can bring him back and keep the staff that wanted him gone.

This would be hilarious. Just a few months ago so many people were talking how great it was to get rid of Dez, how dumb any team would be to get him and how much better off we would be without him.

Now we could be the team everyone was mocking and all of the sudden we can use him.

Bwahahahahahaha....

At this point, so do I. As a matter of fact, bring back Romo, Witten and Ware and make it a Super Bowl or bust year. No excuses.

no simp but sometimes the girl is worth fighting for.
Yeah, some girls are worth fighting for, just like some ex-boyfriends double down on all their problematic behavior and prove how right the girl was to dump him.

We felt he had unrealistic expectations about how much he was financially worth. He went on to turn down contracts, proving he's still got unrealistic, entitled demands even after the marketplace splashing cold water on his fantasies.

We felt he was a headache off the field. He pitched public hissy fits, attacking our coaches and players.

We felt he'd deteriorated and wasn't the player he used to be. Did he respond to the release by immediately moving into the gym, suddenly full of fire and determination to get in peak shape and prove how good he is again? No, he's made it sound like half the reason he hasn't gotten more serious about finding a new team was because he hadn't yet bothered getting into shape so he was ready to roll right away. So in addition to our worries that he was getting worse with age, it sounds like he's added a whole new issue by getting too lazy to even put in the work anymore.

Ugh. Not even a little interested.
