So the NFL has decreed to the referees to give favorable calls to Dallas in their desperation to keep the Cowboys relevant and the ratings up. All this because the Cowboys so bad they need the referees help to stay alive.

You go ahead and keep believing that.

Considering how much money is bet on NFL games, the FBI needs to be called in expose the fraud. If you are right, the Justice Department will bring this league down.

The good news is that Roger Goodell would probably go to jail.

As I said before, it's an unprovable opinion from either side. Neither of us can prove or disprove - though you seem to be pretty good at patronizing condescension.

If something like this was real, there would be zero evidence. Nothing written or recorded. And it might be as simple as continually informing the officials their jobs/salaries are tied to ratings (though I doubt the officials would need to be informed of that- they just know).

Also, I think it's human nature not to kick the injured team where it hurts when they are behind and trying to come back. That holding call earlier in the game becomes much more iffy when the losing team is driving to tie or win at the end...

Not saying it’s right, because I disagreed with them and caught tons of crap for it but you do realize how many Cowboys fans have been believing and complaining for years that there is a Goodell/Mara/officiating conspiracy against us that has cost us games?

I think it’s pretty ridiculous either way but like Blitzen, I argued just one reason that theory is dumb is because if anything it’s in the NFL’s best interest to keep the Cowboys relevant.

I think the cowboys get there terrible calls once in a while, nothing out of the ordinary .

I’ll say this...we got away with A LOT against Detroit but I think it goes both ways and comes full circle. As I’ve already said, if the outcome and the penalties were reversed against Detroit (ie we lost with 8 penalties and they won with 2) there would have already been 20 threads about how we got screwed, the NFL wants us to lose, yadda yadda yadda.
