I think you're confused. I believe "nipple ring" was prior to last year. But even though he didn't show up for camp - which he could have - unlike 2017, he's been allowed to workout and attend meeting and has been since September 12th. There's no valid reason for why he still isn't ready to go.

I said earlier in the week it will be at least 3 weeks before Irving provides us any impact. That’s if he does everything right. I’ll stand by that. You can’t get in football shape by yourself working out.

This guy is going to look back on his life when he’s older and think of what could have been. Hall of Fame, generational wealth type of talent who there’s just always something going on with and most of it is within his control. Once he gets away from the Cowboys who are more patient with these things than most teams, I wonder how long he will last in the NFL.

I know enough. Everybody does. Benefit of the doubt left town a long time ago with this screwup. And many of us are tired of repeated disappointments and excuses.

It's professional football. 6 months- plus of waiting, and just 16 games before it's "better luck next year". Neither this team, nor its players can afford to squander them.
