i dont think i have ever seen this level of agreement to tank (or let garrett screw up) the rest of the season.

i think most of us, including moi, r finally in agreement that dak is not the answer and need the high draft pick for the qb...

I would never root to tank a season.

But I also am not stupid enough to not understand that if we did "tank" it might actually be good long term for the franchise.

While the odds are against us for the playoffs right now, we are probably a few weeks away from having the discussion of whether it would be better to start losing a crap ton of games yet.

Tank? I never say tank, we should try hard to win every week..... which means we should win about 3 games.

Seriously though, the defense is good enough to win another 3 or so games. In other words, just enough to have us miss out on any top tier QBs in the draft. If we were going to do anything suspect on purpose, you have Dak get "injured" and put Rush in the rest of the way.

I've never rooted to tank until right about now. But I remember the years between Aikman and Romo and am not in the mood for it again. What we are right now are the Buffalo Bills post Jim Kelly. I'm hoping they throw Mike White in there right now. No matter what happens it's a win win.

It’s too early to root for a tank. Defenses have carried teams on playoff runs before and this one might be capable with Irving and improved play from some young guys. Not likely but possible.

Talk to me when we are 3-8 or 4-7 and I’ll be fully on board.

What criteria did you use in quantifying 'most of us'? Not saying you are wrong. The site receives thousands of guests daily who do not log in. Hundreds of registered members do log in but do not post comments. At most, several dozen members post comments on any given topic each day...

Sad state of affairs after loving this team for 40+ years but we need a qb. Cannot remember more desperate times. Someone needs to take a poll

This team is done. It's better to lose now but I won't root for the team to lose... I just will not be upset if they do going forward because it is for the best.

This is exactly how I feel.

I can’t root for the team to lose. I never do.

That being said, I was not upset by the loss last night, as I usually am. Because I recognize where the team
Is currently headed.

The next QB is still going to be bouncing passes off his receivers and into the hands of the defense if we don't fix the other issues.

Or do you really want to bring a young QB into this dumpster fire?
