While I don’t agree with Jerry about Dak....if Jerry really believes Dak is a franchise QB wouldn’t he HAVE to fire the offensive coaching staff? If you truly believe in the qb, how could you possibly sit back and not change something to help him when he’s struggling this bad? Literally makes 0 sense...just a microcosm of how bad this franchise is run really.

As the Cowboys’ passing game struggles, Jerry Jones said the team has not had a true No. 1 receiver in “several years,” on 105.3 The Fan in Dallas. Dez Bryant’s last big season came in 2014. Jones signed Bryant to a $70 million contract in 2015 but the production dropped and Bryant was released last April. “I’m basically giving you my definition of a No. 1 receiver and it is Julio Jones. It is the guy we played the other night (DeAndre Hopkins),” Jones said. “Those are the guys. There’s not but about a handful of those in the NFL.”

Let's find a #1 and #2 WR or at least a couple of WRs that are a lot better than Beasley.

I am glad I still follow the Bengals. At least they give me hope, even with Lewis as HC.
They at least have a decent QB, though sometimes I do wonder about Dalton.

And as I been saying, the Browns are closer to a SB than we are.
Maybe 5 years of 1 or 2 win seasons is what it will take.

Zeke should not waste his career here, he should move on when he hits FA, and pull a Bell if they franchise tag him.

Then why didn't you go out and get one Jerry? You cut Dez and then you didn't make the position better. So next year I guess that's who we are going for in the draft. A year too late.
I agree with Jerry that Dez has not been a #1 WR since he got paid.

All Jerry has to do is talk with Aikman to know Dak needs some weapons in the passing game.

This sums it up perfectly.

Your offense sucks. It is the "anti-Rams" offense.

So if the quarterback isn't the issue, your head coach and offensive coaches are.

There's not another possible answer.

It's pretty bad when we envy the Bengals. lol

Sure. And then we scapegoat the next receiver that struggles in this offense. And the next one. And then the one after that. And so on and so on and so on...

2014? Oh that's right. 2014 was Romo's last full season. Go figure.

I will admit Dak is bad the SECOND that they give him a legit coaching staff and he fails...there are zero young QB's that would do well with these coaches - it would take a vet QB (ex: Romo) to call his own plays at the line to supercede these buffoons
This is bs. If that was the case we wouldn't have that 2016 year that have so many of y'all giddy. Can't switch up things when it's beneficial to your argument. You can of course but it looks bad when we have facts that show what your posting is incorrect.

I was told a few months ago we didn't need a #1 WR. Afterall the Pats never have one. lol
Pats in it earlier SB years had 2 guys with 800+ receiving yards and 3 more with less than that.

For the second half they have had Moss, Edelman, Cooks, Hernandez, Gronk, etcetera

Most importantly, I focus on previous dynasty Jerry was a part of. Aikman had #1 and #2 WRs and really good TE to team up with OL + RB.

That is more compatible with the Cowboys instead trying to model after the Patriots.

I love LVE but this is why I wanted Calvin Ridley or Sutton.
If you want 1...you gotta go get 1.
