Why YOU still SUCK! lol

200 yards is arbitrary. He had an efficient day passing and was great on the ground. Just a strange thread to bring up the day after he plays well.
This isn't the week to badger Dak.
He was pretty good, and he's going to have to run like that for that to be the case. He is obviously very effective with his feet. Had those two fumble dribbles not miraculously bounced perfectly, his day could have looked very different. And Ramsey dang near picked him off. But I saw some nice throws and at least he threw the ball downfield more, successful or not. I thought that helped his cause.
Here's the challenge. There's no doubt that Washington will bracket Beasley this week and take that away. (Not sure what Jax was thinking there.) So, Dak is going to have to get more connected with the wide receivers next week.
But make no mistake, Dak was an effective player yesterday. Now, can he string that same game together and get the ball to other guys while using his ability to run? That will determine everything going forward.
There is nothing incoherent in this thread.
Dak homers said Dak didn’t break 200 yards passing, but he could have easily. They just didn’t try...
They had TEN passing plays for Dak in the third. That’s a high rate of passing for elite QBs, even when up that much. That is by every definition of the word trying, including Dak tossing an awful football up over twenty yards plus that was right into Ramsey’s arms. When they were 8 yard seats from the end-zone off the Heath INT they passed it to out of three times.
If anybody truly pays attention, Dak plays his absolute worst in the third quarter and the second half in general.
He was effective in the first half in large part because of how he Jaguars defense looked like they didn’t even practice, there were so many free runners all first half. He did make some nice throws. Kudos for basically an NFL backup making some throws once in awhile. If anything, like Simms said at the half, Linehan was basically one step ahead of them all game.
He was absolutely not effective in the second half, particularly when Jags settles and took away Beasley. In the third quarter, as usual, he was downright awful.
Technically, the 3rd quarter has been his 2nd best quarter, behind the 1st quarter. He's worse in the 2nd and 4th quarters.
Sounds like you are more of a hater than a fan of winning!!In the third quarter ALONE, Dak THREW it nine times and the tenth was when he broke pocket after spinning into the DT to the right, but escaped for that gain. Dak homers, as justification for the fact he couldn’t break 200 yards passing, are pinning this like the Cowboys just decided to stop passed. Dak tried PASSING around 70% of the time in third quarter and his most successful play was when he broke pocket on a three man rush, almost spinning himself into a sack.
He made one awful throw that should on the almost INT by Ramsey and the other, series when Heath put them at the Jaguars 8, he threw it twice and cane away with a field goal. The problem with the Ramsey throw was that it was right after Kaguars matched up the field and scored a TD, meaning it could have easily shifted the momentum and put it at 24-14 if they had any competent offense. The next field goal was the off worst throw in NFL history by Bortles to Heath.
Then came the fumble by the Jags and Dallas decided they had enough and ran it with Zeke pretty much every time.
The Jaguars basically adjusted after their incompetent first half and Dak was Dak. The defense also got its TOs against this garbage Jags offense that turned it over five times last week and allowed the Cowboys to pull ahead while Dak floundered passing.
The point being Dak couldn’t even break 200 yards passing when he was still TRYING.
Almost as strange as the thousand threads trying to say Dak had the greatest game ever and the reason he didn’t break 200 yards passing is because they hung it up on the third, yet Dak went heavy pass and he continued his trend of major suckage in the third quarter.
Guy couldn’t even get thirty yards passing to break 200 yards when trying to throw ten passes on the third in this context, when everything went right around him.
Dak tried throwing it TEN times in the third quarter. How did they not try to get Dak 200 yards passing?
Take away Beasley and produce.
Do that and people will get off Dak's back.
Haters gonna hateTake away Beasley and produce.
Do that and people will get off Dak's back.
No doubt that it'll take more than a decent Sunday now and again to get earn the team's and our confidence in him. Jacksonville's biggest problem was that their offense was dreadful. Secondly, they were pretty arrogant the way they tried to play Dallas straight up. Beasley against Tyler Patmon all day one-on-one? Are you kidding me?
But that game was about protecting the ball and not making big mistakes. Jax had the huge 12-man penalty (basically a turnover) and two turnovers, which iced it. Dak lucked out on the two fumbles.
He's got to get the ball to the wideouts, but I LOVED the early throw to Gallup. That was very Romo-Dez looking. And the other throw to Gallup in the end zone was nice, too. That was hopeful. He missed Austin on the deep ball, but I loved seeing him let that go.
All in all, they can win with that Dak. But teams aren't going to be so arrogant going forward no defense. Let's see what he does the next three games.
I love the guy. I just need to see a lot more to love the quarterback.
He SUCKS BECAUSE HE IS A FAKE FAN .Why YOU still SUCK! lol
