Khiladi get used to watching highlights like below for more years to come...unless something drastic takes place

I forgot how many 3rd and longs were converted yesterday. Running game didn’t really come alive until late in the game.

In the third quarter ALONE, Dak THREW it nine times and the tenth was when he broke pocket after spinning into the DT to the right, but escaped for that gain. Dak homers, as justification for the fact he couldn’t break 200 yards passing, are pinning this like the Cowboys just decided to stop passed. Dak tried PASSING around 70% of the time in third quarter and his most successful play was when he broke pocket on a three man rush, almost spinning himself into a sack.

He made one awful throw that should on the almost INT by Ramsey and the other, series when Heath put them at the Jaguars 8, he threw it twice and cane away with a field goal. The problem with the Ramsey throw was that it was right after Kaguars matched up the field and scored a TD, meaning it could have easily shifted the momentum and put it at 24-14 if they had any competent offense. The next field goal was the off worst throw in NFL history by Bortles to Heath.

Then came the fumble by the Jags and Dallas decided they had enough and ran it with Zeke pretty much every time.

The Jaguars basically adjusted after their incompetent first half and Dak was Dak. The defense also got its TOs against this garbage Jags offense that turned it over five times last week and allowed the Cowboys to pull ahead while Dak floundered passing.

The point being Dak couldn’t even break 200 yards passing when he was still TRYING.
Go root for the Pats if you want to see a team that throws the ball well enough to make up for lack of ability to run the ball...I will keep a 33 point win over the best defense in the league with a QB that could have easily had 100 yards rushing.

Show me.

Never mind. His QBR in for us in 2014 was 7.2!! In 2015 it was 59.1. HIs best game for us in 2015 was likely the game Romo broke his collar bone in against Philly. He was 7-7 and had a QBR of 80.3. Against NO that year he had a QBR of 69.6. He averaged 184.5 yards per game in the 4 games he played for us before we got rid of him.

I just showed you a game where he was equivalent as a starter . You asked for a game. You don’t even know what your arguing anymore?

I can bring up plenty of games where Dak sucked, including the Denver game where he threw two picks that were returned for a TD. He had a 68 rating and that was only because he padded stats in the fifth quarter to bring up those numbers.

Or where he went scoreless for ten straight quarters. Or the five straight games he didn’t break two hundred yards passing, making him among legends like Quincy Carter.

The 184 yards is still better than Dak in 2015 when he started and his completion percentage was better than Dak’s at 72%, meaning he had numbers equivalent to, if not better than Dak, when starting 4 quarters under wire conditions.

Some fans just love to be miserable. Enjoy a win for 24 hours? No way! They still suck!

You must be a blast at parties. :muttley:

Great, we found one game where Weeded played well. You about lost your mind when a poster compared Dak to Mahomes (he didn't by the way, just compared their performances against Jax), yet you want to compare Dak to Brandon f'ing Weeden. LOL.

LOL what do you expect exactly? Those of us that believe Dak is not a franchise QB can't take too much heart in this victory....know why? Cuz it shows that this team has some very real talent on it that will be handicapped by the team's most important position...it's the ultimate gut punch. Those enjoying the victory are the ones somehow wanting it to work with Dak or believe that he'll get better to the point where he'll be able to score with the top dogs....it's not cuz you're better fans.
Not to picking sides at all in this dak debate baiting going on in this thread, just pointing out how odd it is you added that last statement...

I gave Weeden’s overall numbers here. You are the one that asked for one game afterwards.. why are you crying now when you got it.

Weeden threw for 72% and averaged close to 200 yards in 4 games as the starter in worse conditions.

So Dak is basically Weeden, with an offense tailored exclusively for him.

And Weeden's best QBR for an entire season is 59.1

You keep doing you, it's entertaining.

In worse conditions and even in Dallas, he was basically just as good as Dak, considering the short time frame.

So congrats on Dak and Weeden being about the same.. Dak has more records in futility though, including six picks returned for a TD in a season and going scoreless for ten straight quarters. I think he may not even broke 100 yards passing in a game.

I'm not reading this whole thread but:

1. I don't believe Dak should be considered a franchise qb

2. I thoroughly enjoyed this win, just like I enjoyed every other win from Hogeboom to Carter.

I was going to write more stuff but I'll keep it non inflammatory.

Stats can lie. That was clearly not the best defensive team in the NFL yesterday. Seattle and the Texans gave us fits and we haven't played the Rams or the Chiefs yet. Check back after we do.

That's the indication many of the Dak fans are trying to give off....that those of us who don't believe he is the future are bad fans....just saying it's not the case.

Nobody is saying about those guys they haven’t produced over 200 yards passing for a record time, because they are inaccurate.

Dallas and Dak have been hearing this for weeks now and Dak couldn’t break 200 even when trying and they were up in a blowout loss.

Pretend that they didn’t call pass ten times in the third quarter alone and Dak was garbage..

I m going to pretend you don't exist Dak had a 107 QBR . Why don't you start your own site with the rest of the fake fans and haters
