This was total cluster from head to toe. The O-line was dreadful against the run and the pass. Dak made some horrible plays - that 4th quarter play where he ran out of bounds - what was that? The defense gets all the praise, but they sucked tonight if you ask me. If you can't get of the field on 3rd down, you're not playing good defense. Even Maher missed a fairly easy kick. Just a total cluster from head to toe. Poor Zeke. I think he enters each game ready to roll, then...

This is my biggest fear. JG has one last safety net and thats his OC. And you KNOW any OC he signs will be an old school type that he likes, with no creativity. Probably Jeff Fisher, just to wrap up the mediocrity in a bow.

Dak lost this game.

It wasn't the missed FG. It was the INT. It took the wind right out of their sails.

And what a terrible INT it was, a floater into double coverage in the end zone. Inexcusable.

 

[Verdict]

A couple of observations:

1. I would fire Linehan and I wouldn't wait to do it. Even a complete simpleton would mix it up on occasion on first down. When the entire stadium knows you are going to run Zeke between the tackles on first down, so does the defense.

2. Amari Cooper appears to probably be worth the first round pick no matter what happens since we have already won 3 games.

3. Dak holds the ball WAY too long and doesn't trust his eyes.

4. Why wait until the 4th quarter to get Beasley involved? He seemed to be open when he was on the field.

5. Dak has the physical tools to be successful. He should not have forced the interception in the end zone. Dak needs a QB whisperer and it's not Kellen Moore. Fire Moore too.

6. I don't understand why we didn't call ANY QB runs the entire game.

7. The defense didn't get enough pressure on Mariota. Defense played well early then folded like a cheap tent in the second half.

8.Dallas is still in the hunt if they can beat Philly twice. The Skins have lost too many players to make a run now. That sounds remarkably silly, but it's still true.

9. Even the commentators were commenting about how Dallas needs to open it up on first down.
