Dak is total garbage. White at least has some semblance of an arm. Season's pretty much a wash with no first round pick give the youngbloods a shot I'm done with the mediocre QB play at least it would be interesting to watch not the smut I've been watching this season with Dak under center.

The more they play Dak the more the team will fall apart.....Zeke and the rest of the players are DONE sacrificing there bodies and careers to COVER for Dak's ineptness......

Nah even the Jones clan knows that its Time for a Dak change if not then God help us all....we are headed for the gloomiest period of Cowboy football since 1989......
I don't think so. Hence parting with the first round pick next year. That pick might be a top 5-7 pick and if you need a QB why not trade up if possible and get a QB like we have seen both the Rams and Philly do with much success.

What difference would white make?

Joe Montana with randy moss couldn’t make this offense work

This system is like a entering a dumptruck in a race with ferrarri’s and saying “execution is needed”
that is true, I dont think it is time yet to give up on season, but if they lose the next 2 games,
it would be a good time to test drive the 2 bkups.
let each one play 3 games, and then see if either one is worth keeping around.

At this time I dont think either one is worth keeping. but really they need to get whole games real games to show what they can do.

But JG and jerry wont do that , until they have 9 or 10 losses and are totally out of it.

Gonna say it again and again.....we have NOTHING to lose trying Rush and White with the starters from here on out....this bus is going nowhere with Dak...and ya for you Dak-Crushers there is no growth he is getting worse out there weekly!!!
I am all for it after next 2 games, test drive the bkups see if they need to go too.
but they wont do it till last game or 2 and maybe not even then.

Let us not forget that Bill Parcells came in here and was saddled with Quincy Carter as QB. I think that we can all agree that Dak, as bad as he has played, is way better than Carter was. He went 10-6.

In the NFL, it’s all about coaches playing to the strengths of the personnel that they have. Dak’s strengths are his mobility (RPO) and the team’s strength is the running game (play action pass).

So yeah, Dak is a below average quarterback. But a good head coach should be able to make this work given the talent at other positions simply by using matchups and play calling. Unfortunately, with Hugh Jackson gone, this is now the worst coaching staff in the league.

You want him to just throw it up quickly, he did, and came down with an INT in the end zone. Fans got what they wanted.
I mean, I was kinda looking for him to read the defense pre-snap, set protections, go through his reads, and find the open man or throw it away. Instead he threw up a floater off his back foot into perfect double coverage...not what I wanted to see.

This team is not going to win with any of the back ups. It's simply not good enough. I'm not sure what are watching, but there is no way this offense is going to win games against good defenses with Rush or White. This O line is pretty bad, Prescott isn't good enough to overcome, the WR's/TE's are garbage.
And, the culprit is the staff. Once again, not preparing the team to beat a mediocre team with 2 weeks to prepare.
I'm usually pretty optimistic, but I really don't care. It's whatever. I expect absolutely nothing and I'm fine.

Imagine being cached by a group of back up QBs, literally.

True they cut Dez and happily let Witten retire because they wanted recovers that they did not have to feed and Dak would not feel pressured to feed. Than bang they get cooper and what do they do force feed him. They only deviate from the playbook when a loss is evident.

You either have it or you Don't....and it's pretty evident Dak is a DUD......in all aspects esp mentally and accuracy....

But....but....."he's a good guy" is what everyone says - as if that matters when you can't play the game. We're not seeing anything that was not in his scouting report so no surprises - except for Jones and Garrett apparently..

Let's also not forget that the Eagles won a FRIGGIN SUPER BOWL with Nick Foles as their QB.

Dak will be here as a starter through 2019. Garrett will be gone. Jerruh has too much invested in Dak and it’s obvious Garrett/Linehan have lost the offense.

I don't know how I feel about that but I do know Dak should finish the season. Let Garrett drive this team into the ground and go from there.

Dak's problem isn't lack of arm strength. It's processing the defense while getting rushed. He gets happy feet when he gets pressured and his mechanics get real bad. I doubt White will do any better in that regard.

You are spot on in what you see from Dak. But Mike White is different in that he seems to ignore the rush entirely. Not good either, I know.

We don't know that. In 2006 Dallas was not on their way to becoming a playoff team and Owens was the highest paid decoy in the league. The QB switch made the difference. But I agree we need new coaching. But that's not helping this QB.

We have no 1st round pick. 2020 we draft a QB. The way this team is playing we should have a very early pick. But I cut the HC and OC loose. And, I replace the DC.
There is no excuse for the players we have to work with that we can't be prepared a average team with 2 weeks.
They need to go.

I sort of agree. I would play Rush a couple of games first to see what he has than go to White maybe the last 4 games. See if these backups have anything. Really its not so much the arm. Its being able to read the defense and seeing open receivers. Not holding the ball too long.
