I feel you brother. I dropped out a few weeks ago. I could see the writing on the wall and now I'm hoping for decisions to be made that makes me look forward to Dallas Football Cowboys 2019.

Until then - I'm just going to flit about here like a social butterfly.

Love seeing you around these parts every time though. I make no bones about that.
i feel same way...i am not rooting for a cowboy win and false hope anymore....a new HC and OC at minimum

It was a great situation for Dez. Play for a contender with a great QB and plenty of other receiving threats.
Would have been cool to at least see what he could do in that situation.
For real.

Who would not have paid attention?

Dez career might be over. Never was a 4.4. guy to begin with. He plays the game violently. With this kind of injury it's gonna be extremely hard to come back from it unless he totally changes his style of play.

If his career is over, does he get hall of fame consideration?

Not even close. Much like Tony. They really ended together with the UnCatch at GB.

oh man that is what happens when you been on the couch for months and then go all out

Kinda true, but also age too. Hoopin' with the boys isn't the same since I hit my thirties and I'm an active person.

Hate to see this kinda thing happen to anyone, but maybe if Dez had spent more of his “extended offseason” working out and staying in shape, instead of media-trolling the Cowboys and whining about “snakes”, he might’ve been able to get through a simple mid-week practice session?

Hope his $$ was guaranteed.

He actually did spend his off-season working out. He needed to get in-game shape and couldn't do that unless he signed.

Seriously?? Wow, l feel bad for the guy...

The football gods do not like Dez...

That’s not it, sometimes you just create your own luck. How many times did we see Dez look out of shape to start a season? He may work hard, I’m not calling him lazy because I really don’t know. But it’s clear he at least doesn’t work out correctly.

And out of shape players are more likely to get injured. And who here thinks Dez stayed in playing shape? It’s sad, but this is what happens when you don’t follow the advice of people who know more than you.
