He threw more and had a higher Y/A average as well. I'd still take him over Dak. Dak just needs to keep this rolling is all.
He threw the ball directly to LVE.
DIRECTLY.

and the weapon talk is goofy. Ertz is a top 2 TE.
DAL just added Cooper and they added Tate.

Cooper, Bease, Gallup, Noah Brown, Swain has potential but calling that better than
Jeffrey, Tate, Agholor, Matthews, Ertz is is simply wrong.

DAL OL is without 2 starters and lost Martin for a portion of the game.

if Wentz doesn't look special Sunday or all year what must you think Dak looks like?????

We are constantly being told that Dak is a backup QB. In which case Wentz looked average at best on Sunday

Wentz was way better.. that int was a head error. Dallas just (dare I say it) played smarter. They controlled TOP and were able to run the ball. Cooper was a breath of fresh air. His presence opened up the defense for Zeke and the other receivers. Dak missed a bunch of routes. I said this in the game day thread and funny Chris Collingsworth almost quoted me, Dak's issue is he can't anticipate the route. He'll only throw if you're wide open.

then you are saying Dak looked average at best?

I'm saying if Dak is as bad as people constantly say, then Wentz isn't all that good. Because comparatively he hasn't played well all year. Remembering of course, the Eagles have in place a system which can win the SB without Wentz.

You are correct they played the Dallas kind of game, it's huge when Zeke runs great, the defense played very well also, problem is this type of game doen't happen often anymore when Zeke is controlled.

On the road. Lesser supporting cast. Conservative gameplan. Went in and beat him, right in the middle of the ring so to speak.

All the tweets, and the smack from our fan base and theirs. The talking heads "Oh I would take Wentz over Dak".

He went in and beat him. There's so much to like with Prescott. Would have hung 350 on them if we just take the training wheels off in the second half and let the guy sling it; which we never do. He always has a huge first half then we go conservative.

That said - he outplayed Wentz. Still take our guy.

I’d still take Wentz over him. Dak played well last night but he’s still not as good as Wentz.

That’s the danger of using one game to
Make a determination.

31 GMs would take their guy over ours and I suspect if you got Jerry at a bar and a few JW Blues in him he’d want him too.

Wentz has won some clutch games, but I do think it is a weakness and you are spot on.. his decision on that last play was incorrect. Having said that.. they were in a hail mary situation really.. and potentially he felt that someone would have to make a play.

I think the bigger issue was their defence giving up 27 points against our offence (which has been lousy) and should have been more if not for missed FG etc. So the Eagles defense played poorly.. I mean Zeke was beyond good and the OL was dominant (Martin was superhuman) but their D gave up lots of yards and long drives. They couldn't get us off the field in the last.
Wentz is 21-15.
Dak is 26-15.

That's pretty significant considering these two teams make up... 1 team has pushed all its chips to the middle to max out now while the other until the Cooper trade was built for the future.

DAL with DAK/Cooper went to work and got on the same page right away.

Wentz/Tate with a full BYE Week in Philly had Tate have one of his worst games ever versus us.

The only thing Dak can do better is run. Wentz has an accurate bullet... that's very Brady

Last night was the Zeke show and proof positive that they have to stick with guy and keep giving him the ball. He makes the team better with his play.

Assuming the oline helps. Gotta give zack Martin some props. I know he's hurting this morning.

I doubt that.....many yes, but to say 31? ( Bucs, Broncos, Jets, Bills and even the Raiders maybe would gladly take Dak IMO)

31 NFL GMS would take Dak, the 6.5M in cap space per year on their rookie deals and the extra draft picks.
Especially if they had a back up QB who could win a SB on the roster.
Wentz is more physically talented but he is far less durable and cost way more in both draft capital and cap space.

I think 32 would, JJ would rather have Wentz too no Blue Label needed, and if everyone is really honest there is no one on this board that would take Dak over Wentz unfortunately Dallas has the Yugo while Philly has the Rolls.

There isn't a GM in the NFL (except for Jerrah) who would take Dak over Wentz.

Lol saying he had no supporting cast. The Oline played lights out. So did Zeke and the WRs. Defense kept us in the first half when Dak was absolutely dreadful.

Dak wins more games and is far more durable.
Wentz has a better arm.
Wentz has more upside but also a lot more risk.

Wentz does fall behind Dak in "clutch" wins. Dak has 7 such wins and Wentz only has 3, learned that tidbit from an Eagles forum, some fans lamented that even Tom Savage has 3. There are more than a couple Eagles fans wondering if Wentz has the "clutch factor" Not just because of last night, but recently against the Vikings, the OT loss against the Titans, the horrible INT in the EZ he threw against Carolina that ended the game, etc. Dak lead drives at the end of the half and end of the game. Both QBs completed 72% of their passes last night and passer ratings were near identical, Dak even with all his faults managed to make the passes when we needed it most, Wentz didn't. Many Eagles fans are starting to wonder when Wentz is going to start making the passes when they need it most.
