I'd be fine with Dak if he didn't miss guys wide open down the field. I just don't know how he can't see dudes down the field 40 yards with nobody on them.

He has no anticipation whatsoever. Countless times this year you see receivers, usually Gallup, about to break wide open and the QB doesn't see him. He's busy doing his spin move out of a protected pocket.

He's a bum.

I get some of the criticism, but some fans are completely banana's, not factoring in his surroundings. It's odd.
There are a lot holding tight to him not being accurate, and not all his passes were but look at the highlight reel. There were some damn good throws.

No one is arguing that he can't make a good throw. its the inconsistency of making a really nice throw occasionally sprinkled in with consistently can't complete check down passes or is so late\inaccurate that the pass may be "complete" but no YAC or receiver had to make a nice catch on what should have been easy.

It's just not quality NFL QB play no matter how you break it down.

Dak use to have solid anticipation. Not sure why that has changed...but I think it comes back to that Atlanta game last year where he was mercilessly hit. I saw a different guy ever since. LAST NIGHT I have to admit, I saw the good Dak for the most part.

He still has yet to experience quality NFL player developement no matter how you break it down.
true dat but you don't need much development to complete the passes that are there for everyone to see .... if you have the talent.

Dak came up big tonight. He owns Wince. I believe he's 4-1 vs Wince head to head...#WinceSauce

Call him whatever you want.

  • Bus driver
  • Not worth the money
  • Inaccurate
  • Etc
  • Etc

Just make sure you also call him a winner.

In Dak I Trust.

I guess you weren't listening to Collinsworth's commentary on him, and probably didn't listen to Romo's or Witten's before that. You can't hold the ball like he is and expect the line to hold up. You can't telegraph where you are going with the ball. You can't miss easy throws.

If the Philly linebacker had made that easy interception early in the game, which was a walk-in TD, we'd probably be talking about this game in a different light today.

“Countless times” LOLLL

As if you’re studying the film and know what you’re talking about.

Did Wentz see the 1st down sticks when he hit Ertz for 6 yards on 4th and 7???? Hahahahahahahaaha

So do you deny that it as a terrible pass, that Dak stared down the receiver, that it hit the linebacker in his hands and should have been intercepted?

A bad pass is a bad pass. It's good fortune for our team that we didn't pay for the mistake.

I think I have covered all of the random bad pass dialogue already in this thread.

Perhaps you can acknowledge that, for every bad pass, there were 3 or 4 really good passes. Just pehaps.. shrug

OK, everyone here will give kudos to Dak playing a "bit" better then he has to date... BUT he now HAS to play like this AND IMPROVE on it going forward. Our biggest problem is, he won't, he will regress to what he truly is Bleu, and at this point and time, that is NOT a solid QB. Dak knew his butt was up against it last night, but in truth just who did he beat? I mean really, the eagle's have been struttin around on the ground all season, they lost that ability to "fly". Instead of an eagle, we played the bantam chickens last night.
Atlanta got roasted by the lowly Browns yesterday, now who you think is going to out play them come Sunday? Sorry buddy, I've lost all confidence in this team, coaches and players alike. I will say however, I lay most of Dak's issue with this coaching staff...but he still cannot see the field, nor throw to wide open WR's...

26 for 36

72% of his passes completed.

27 total yards.

1 passing TD.

1 rushing TD.

I'm no stat guru but those are some pretty respectable stats in my eyes.

This was a team win. Dak did overcome his struggles enough to help us win but he wasn't playing great. Alot of missed opportunities. Our defense played great and Zeke had 150 yards, that's our winning formula.

And I state this without any humor intended....Tim Tebow would be better for us at least he didn't have Pressure Panic Syndrome in the pocket.....

Dak is the worst case scenario at QB....mediocre.

He's not good enough to be a franchise QB and for us to win consistently. But he's not bad enough for Jerry to give up on him and know he needs to find a legit QB.

Instead Dak makes some plays and flashes enough athleticism to keep having JJ and the coaches believe he'll eventually turn the corner and if we surround him with enough talent we can contend. It's the worst situation to be in, wasting years sticking with someone who is mediocre hoping for a different result....much like Garrett.
