Any attempt to define the qualities of “a good fan” through some litmus test is a fool’s errand. If someone says they’re a Cowboys fan and care enough to post here, they have my respect, regardless of whether or not I agree or disagree with their opinions.

We have cheerleaders, realists, glass half full and half empty fans here. As long as they love the Cowboys, that’s good enough for me.

A real “forum” in its truest form is a place for a variety of opinions. The last thing we need around here is for everyone to be in lock step agreement with football opinions.

Exactly. I am pretty sure if you seek out a Cowboys message board, you are a fan of the team. This is a weird question to ask. Am I fan of the Cowboys? Absolutely. Do I agree with everything about them? Absolutely not.

I support the team 100% the Star and the uniform and whomever us in them at the moment..and yes the coaches until they are fired, doesnt mean I dont want to see Jerry step down as GM or JG stay as coach, that is what the team needs..

I do not wish to lose any game or tank at anytime to get the above accomplished, it will happen when it happens...

So yes I hope even Dak finally has the ight turn on and becomes our QB but if he isn't i'm supporting the next guy until hes gone..

So yes as a Cowboy fan im never off the bandwagon and I still watch the games and cheer for them , wear my old hats and jerseys, just do not buy any tickets or new gear until I see positive real change from the FO..

I have a personal history of picking teams to root for with owners everyone hates. I'm used to it. Pro sports is loaded with many teams that go decades without a championship, and I am sure on every fan board are people there going on about how bad their owner is or how bad their coach is. Doesn't mean they are wrong but seems par for the course. I think Jerry is dying to win but he is a flawed man. I am sick of losing but the thought of jumping ship is ridiculous. Some people need to vent more than others. I may watch fewer games when they lose but will always care.
