This is the biggest problem with Dak’s game.

I hoped he would have improved it more by this team in his career. The fact he hasn’t, is my primary concern with his play.

If he improved his footwork his accuracy would improve, as well as, his ability to move around the pocket.

At this point I feel like he will never get it corrected and that’s why the team needs to bring in other young talent.

Footwork is not so easy to correct. He probably still has to think about it and then it degrades in the heat of the game. It's the lack of anticipation that worries me more than anything.

He actually mention this earlier in the season. As he put it, lot little things here and there. One was making sure his feet are properly set.

People would far less forgiving of Dak if guys stopped trying to make a case that he is an elite passer. He's not.

It is not only footwork , the mechanics as well , he picked up enough in the 1st year and operated within limits and did a good job, but after Atlanta last year seems that he is got demons chasing him, hope tomorrow's game he will exorcise those demons , LOL

I don't think anybody is saying Dak's an elite passer...I do think a lot of people believe he could become a quite capable passer though. I am one of those people, I've seen enough from him to warrant that though. Personally I think it never happens with these coaches he's got. Dak's got enough talent and all of the intangibles to be a quality NFL starting QB but he's not there yet...if his coaches actually helped him win ball games and masked some of his deficiencies while he developed it would help a lot. This doesn't happen though, this staff exacerbates his problems and doesn't play to his strengths.

There are many more examples of Dak's bad footwork in the Eagles' game, often with worse technique.

It's so sad. I got all excited on a play just because Dak set his feet on a throw. Low expectations.

The analysis is meaningless. He repeats footwork and draws some lines on the screen that neither line up with Dak's foot or with the direction of the receiver.

Wrong, that’s a good footwork break down. And good tape for young QBs on how not to throw the football.

it ain't Dak's foot work that scares me, it's sticking with his 1st read too long ... happens way too often

on that first play his second read was deep middle and when the CB gave ground to Gallup he should have quick pumped the S left and threw the post

Totally agree with this, except I would add that his first read = presnap read. He often decides before he gets the ball where he wants to go with it and just holds it and waits for that to open up.
