There's always a role for a team with a strong defense to up-end the playoffs.

Unfortunately for us, that's probably the Bears and not the Cowboys.

Are we too weak for this coming playoff field...doy.
Anyone seriously think we can stay on the same field with NO, KC, or LA?

I'll say this.

They are better then we are but it's because of their QB and coaching.

But Dallas doesn't get ran off the field ever and those teams will not run us off the field either.

We'll probably lose because it's a big play league and we're an Anti-big play team but if we play any of those teams we'll be in it unless we get down early.

Our style of football just doesn't allow teams to score a ton of points because we just run the clock out and make it a 50/50 game.

Yup on any given Sunday any team can get served a whooping.

New Orleans lost to Tampa.. It was early but still.. That's bad.

With that said.. New Orleans is going to the Superbowl. IF they get homefield it's all but over.

The start of the show where he speaks about the type of impact Nagy has with the Bears offense is what stood out more then the Cowboys stuff. He gets into the Cowboys around 4:30 but the discussion about the Bears coaching vs what Garrett brings is spot on.

As it stacks up right now, if Dallas somehow wins the division, the wildcard playoff opponent would be a team like Carolina, Seattle, etc. IF Dallas plays well, they can hang with those teams.

Is Cowhack too weak to be prematurely ccommenting on the state of the Cowboys?

yes.

We have a punchers chance against any of them. If our offense gets a little better, we can beat them. Our philosophy of Defense and running game is tried and true.

Agree but our path to a Superbowl is avoiding running QB's I think.

We've been really good against pure pocket guys but a QB that can run has been our downfall this season.

I would welcome playing the Rams if we could get that game.

Are they better then Dallas? Of course.

But they have a statue QB and Dallas fans would more then likely take over that stadium and turn that into a neutral field.

If we were in post season starting today? No I think it would be a lot to expect success. However the post season is not today, in my view this team needs to continue to work and develop especially on offense. I do see signs of life in this offense since Cooper was signed, it is helping other WR and is helping the run game. Dak entered this season with 1 WR he has played with in the past in Beasley. It falls to this offense led by Dak to get in sync with these other WR.

  1. Coaching matters
  2. Dallas doesn't measure up to the true playoff teams
Yeah, he nails it.

Luckily the Cowboys are in the weakest division. If we make the playoffs, we deserve it.

May not be too weak for the playoffs but out of all teams, we’d be the weakest for sure.

The Patriots have been in the weakest division for 20 years and it affords them a great record and home field advantage every season.

I'm more than okay shmoozing our way into the playoffs.
