So only top 10 are contenders. Not only that but how many publications said the Philly game was a can't win? Same thing with Atlanta.

out of 32 teams, how many do you think are legit SB contenders?

The Falcons were a 4.5 point favorite at home. That's basically a tossup if you take home field into account. In what world is that a can't win?

You didn't but I already explained what I was referencing when I said you were easily impressed.
Exactly I didn't, I said I appreciated the progress and cheered the progress and there needs to be a spit load more progress before Im impressed but for the time being I see things going in a positive direction .

For me to be impressed this jerked off coaching staff would have had to realize in TC that Alexanders blocking scheme was not going to work , that Williams was light in the pants and the X man should have started the year before we pissed away half the season trying to fix our Oline with addition by subtraction .

For me to be impressed somebody in the FO would have had to recognize that we needed a better WR than the group we had and how about let Dak play some preseason football with them to get the bugs worked out before the season started .

Lastly for me to be impressed Garrett would have had to improve to the point where he could manage the clock and out coach SOMEBODY JUST ONCE IN HIS LIFE!!! We would have at least 2 more wins at this point and I would be impressed

At this point it looks like we have our act together player wise like it should have been at game one coaching is what it is so if we beat the teams we should beat and make the playoffs Im happy with the progress but not impressed . Hope that clears it up for you

No offense but the whole easily impressed thing came from you talking about people saying something if the Boys win by 20. I said unless you're easily impressed like you and others you know it's fools gold and nothing you posted changes that. I was never lost on your point just disagreed with it. The Cowboys aren't blowing people out like that as evidence by them losing the next game after beating down a team. That's fools gold aka not the norm period.

That's not what I said that's what some "experts" in the media said. What was the spread for the Philly game? Cowherd said it's not a must win it's a can't win. When Giants won the Superbowl how many times did people say they were contenders that season? In you are in the playoffs you are a contender, swing it how you want too but those are facts.

Third down Conversion %:

Before Cooper = 31%, (29th in the league)

(last three games) 50% (7th in the league)

The impact on Prescott:

His completion percentage before Cooper’s arrival was 62.1. It has been 69.7 since.

His quarterback rating was 87.4 before and is 96.4 after.

He averaged 202.4 passing yards per game before and is at 240.3 after.

His yards per attempt has gone up from 6.9 to 7.3.

And of course, the Cowboys have a 2-1 record.

Imagine if We had ANOTHER great receiving weapon like a great TE to go with Cooper. Then add a REAL HC and a keen offensive mind. It would be amazing to see what these players really can do.

I think we'll have a great barometer for improvement on Thursday. Once again playing a team that totally shut down our offense. Let's see how things go this time.
Good observation thou the back up QB throws some shade on this

I’m actually more concerned about the backup than I would be their starter. Smith wasn’t playing well and I’ve long been a fan of Colt McCoy. I wished we had signed him as our backup years ago.

I always thought Colt would be a great backup for this team. The FO has clearly set Dak as the franchise QB, so what's the point in "developing" late round projects? We need a vet who can come in and not embarrass themselves, without offering Dak and competition as the starter.
