Well look at the 2016 playoff game vs Green Bay. Dak started slow but eventually got hot and had a very nice game. If the defense would’ve held up in the last minutes things might have been different. Now as far as the present season goes. I think the addition of Cooper helps Dak immensely. Thus helping the offense and the team as a whole. We can get it done as long as the defense stays solid, we don’t suffer major injuries to key players, the offense plays well within itself and the coaches don’t screw it up as usual. In all actuality I blame JG and Linehan more than anyone else because they refuse to coach, plan and scheme to our strengths. Instead they try to force the players to fit their ideals. It’s backwards in my opinion.
there is no doubt that Dak plays decently against weaker defenses specially weaker pass defenses. usually because they allow the WRs to be more open and more separation so he can make the safe throws. GB was 31st ranked pass defense. he struggles really bad against better defenses. Titans shut him down. yeah yeah yeah he had 243 yards....a lot of which came in the end of 4th quarter trying to make a come back against prevent defense collecting garbage yards...
and yes, addition of cooper helps him....so Dak can be a good bus driver. play it safe. let the defense and running game help him and make a play or two here and there.....
and some blame is on JG and Linehan. Both come from timing offenses that requires ability to pass from the pocket and be accurate and have the anticipation to make throws. Dak doesn't fit that bill and probably bette suited to a west coast style of offense that puts him on the move, neither of those guys are west coast guys....
