Already is for me, I feel quite at home here, whether that's good or bad, I'll let y'all be the judge.

The over the edge part for me is that when I've come to recognize some of the new posters', to me, sarcasm and wit and how they might respond to a thread. That took time on the old site but when a thread would go up, I would mentally start the list in my head of how some would respond and anticipate that.

The challenge here was to learn the posters' style and see some of the feuds that had already started and get a feel for how what I do might be accepted or rejected but I also knew that had to learn about me and was I worth the trouble? At first, it was pretty much ignore but now they don't like me just fine.

The key to anything new is to back off a little and just observe, I guess that's why so many post that they've lurked for years before wading on in. This can be intimidating for some because they might react instead of respond. Can't take any of this personally and have no idea what's going on with the person on that keyboard.

I was here once before and went back because I missed the folks over there but I also didn't give this enough time for me to get used to them and vice versa. Some things gotta be earned and that takes time.

I have a lot of fun here and a lot of laughs but the magic is when a poster is in need of friends, like one going through a really rough divorce shortly after we all got here. The things we share here, and I know I've probably overstepped that on occasion, make this what it really is. I don't come here to read your posts, I come here to get to know you. There are some posters here that have taken up permanent residency in my heart and I am the richer man for that.

Buy ya wanna know what I like best here? Oh sure you do, don't be that way. I see this TL;dr here a lot less but then maybe they all just gave up. But what the hell, I don't apologize because none of it is required reading. I've just got a lot of words in my head and a limited amount of time to use them. And I am very appreciative of our host in providing a great place to use them.
There used to be a really informed poster that used to post on here named COUCHSCOUT. This whole time I though you were him. Geez...

I am none of that. I choose to make stuff up rather than be informed, especially really.

Xelda at a loss for words....I haven't checked My Nostradamus lately, but it may be time to start planning for the apocalypse.
Boy oh boy, Londy you are playing with fire. If you lived a whole lot closer, I'd be tempted to drive over and introduce a cast iron skillet to the side of your head.

WHAT? All that stuff you said was made up? Say it isn't so, Coach!!!! No. Never mind. I choose to believe you anyway.
