If I were the Cowboys I would sign Hunt and say the team has suspended him until its investigation is complete. The league will suspend him for 6 games and next year you have a legit backup to Zeke and a really good 3rd down back.

It's no different than the Zeke deal, except Zeke didn't do it. But we took the Zeke P.R. hit as if he did it.

We might as well have a player who is actually guilty of what he was accused of. I don't see any difference between him and Zeke personally.

Kareem was a hell of a find by Andy Reid's staff in the third round, but the last thing Dallas needs to do is approach another player with baggage like this.

I'd rather stay in the news for good things than to put our feet in our mouths like the Skins did last week.

If Zeke would have admitted to it, it would still be a pretty big difference. Video changes everything. I had a friend years ago who hit his wife. I wasn't there and thought it was ****ed up and disappointing. About 6 months late he did it again in front of me. Seeing it live is nothing like hearing about it.

I heard he was called the "N" word by this Lady, not that it excuses his behavior, but everyone has a trigger point, a sort of "just snapped" type mentality. For me, it would be if someone touched my kids sexually, I'm pretty sure I will break all the laws of the land at that point. And if she did call him that, for some people, all bets are off. There's a reason someone calls another person that, they want to get a reaction and be careful of what you wish for.

Most of these players grew up on the streets in tough lives, tough environments and so it would be wise to tread lightly when dealing with them.

But again, I don't know what happened, all I know is what I saw on youtube, and something set him off. I definitely don't condone hitting another woman for any reason, but...
