Yet Aikman lived up the dink and dunk offense which people complain about Dak doing.
Decades ago and the main difference being that Aikman could win a game with the pass when everything else was falling apart. Two different universes for these two QB's. One was considered the top 3/4 qb of the day while the other is ranked 17/18 range...on a good day.

Dak could also win games when it counted the most also. Don't kid yourself. Dak has won his share of games when it counted.

Aikman has had a much better team with better coaching also. Like you said two different universes.

Dak equaled Aaron Rodgers in a shoot out in the playoffs. If need be he will sling the rock

After the talent was gone, Aikman didn't do a whole lot. He was great in the early years, but once the salary cap took it's toll, Aikman was never a top tier QB again.

Dak will sling the rock if he needs to. You mean the multitude of 200 yard games and 14 td's in 12 games is by design?

That's the way it works in the NFL, like it or not. When Romo went 13-3 it was Romo who went 13-3 not Demarcus Ware or Bradie James that went 13-3. Same with the head coach, he's judged as to his record. All Qbs and all head coaches are judged on that. Just because you don't like Dak doesn't mean that you can use the record for all other QBs but not Dak.

But that's fine, if you want to judge him that way, go ahead. But many of us fans look forward to rooting for our team and be happy when our team wins. I think that's what fans do. If you and your compadres want to be miserable, win or lose, by all means knock yourself out. But please don't invade every thread with you whining about Dak. Make one thread and stay there with your misery and those who enjoy being miserable with you, because of Dak. This is nothing new, the same thing happened when Romo was here. Same *****ing and complaining about everything he did, probably bu the seam posters.

And no I'm not a blue glasses wearing fan. I am very critical of this team, and always have been. Sure Dak has flaws, but as Parcells used to say, you are what your record says you are. Unfortunately that also applies to Garret, whom I think is the biggest issue with this team. But there's nothing I can do about it, there's not a damn thing you can do about Dak. And really, there's nothing you or I or anyone not named Jones can do about it.

So I will just keep watching and being a fan, and try as hard as I can not to let miserable "fans" make me miserable when I should be happy with a win. Again all we ask is for you and your posse of misery to not hijack every damn thread with you misery and hate for Dak.
EXCELLENT POST SIR!!!!

Well Dak needs to win now, he has the defense so he needs to hold up his end of the bargain.

Romo could actually pass the ball and throw it downfield 30- 40 yards. Deeper passes loosen up the defense.
Teams baited him to pass and they didn't have to try very hard because that's what he liked to do and would use any excuse to opt out of the run . He went to that well to often and many times paid for it in the worst moments.

Dak tries to follow the plan run the ball score slow control the clock . To Dak a TD is a TD no matter if its run or thrown in . Romo wanted to pass it in and boost his stats . He even admitted it during a broadcast one time . That's not putting winning 1st Dak puts winning 1st over personal accomplishments.

Two different eras! back in Aikmans days you could grab the WR and rough up the other teams QB with cheap hits! Dak would get punished trying to run in those days. Aikman in todays game would thrive with his accuracy and the rules today.

Dak is 4-1 against Wentz.
Dak took romos job.

For a loser qb he sure does punk these hall of famers.

No he’s 2-2 vs Wentz.

‘16
Week 7- win
Week 16- loss but meaningless game for the Cowboys

‘17
Week 10- loss
Week 16- win but Philly barely played their starters. Wentz was hurt at this point.

‘18
Week 9- win

In 2016 week 16 DAL played Dak, Romo then Sanchez
That was def not a game he lost.
But he did start so you could get that on a technicality I guess.
