We are insanely fortunate that someone of Amari's talent and personality was available for the taking. He's an amazing talent and still very young. We fleeced the Raiders in retrospect.

I think it's obvious that it false. He's certainly not a rah-rah guy. He's not going to prattle on about himself....nor is he a prima-donna as most top-flight WRs. He goes about his business.

I'm not much into taking shots at Dez. The guy poured his heart and soul into this team and set a lot of franchise records. On the field, I think he carried himself the same way a lot of fans would -- highly emotional. His time passed him by, but Amari's career trajectory is in no way aided by Dez's demise on the field.

Seems to me like a guy who poured his heart and soul into the team would run his routes hard, learn the playbook, and do his rehab to get back onto the field.

I didn't know this guy was this good. I know he was big coming out of college but he didn't seem like anything special in Oakland. He's a playmaker and seems like a good teammate.
