Austin and Lee could return this week

I try to not listen to rumors because rumors also said Cooper was "soft" and didn't love football. If he wants to play I'd bring him back on a favorable deal. You can't deny his talent.

They were right about Cooper.....as a Raider. A lot of guys leave there and find themselves. Charles Woodson and Randy Moss come to mind.

It's probably good to go shopping at a crappy team. They get high picks but don't use or develop them well.

If you are soft and don't love football? That's not a trait you get rid of. Woodson's love for the game was never in question.......I think I remember them saying that about Randy but Randy even admitted as much. He hated it there.

Why not just IR him for the season then?

Probably just keep that door open in case of injuries.

Who knows.

I don't want to speculate too much.

The ankle injury being a cover up and him not loving football are coming from people close to the team in the media.

It's probably safe to say Stephen Jones's 12-15 touches per game experiment for Austin has failed. Not sure I see the point of bringing him back.

Would be nice if David Irving came back but I think the ankle injury was a cover up and they just don't want to deal with him anymore this season.

Not that I disagree, but why do you say this?

Exactly. And considering Broaddas has mentioned on more than one occasion that Irving never once showed up for treatments. No where to be found. All the other injured players were working with Britt and the other trainers.
If that's true, that's a really huge red flag.

So they give Lee his job back, but didn't give it to Romo? Interesting.

There is a difference in that a LB can be rotated in and out, so Lee starting could just be a technical designation, but not an indication he will be in every snap. QB is a different situation because a commitment to a player at QB is an every snap commitment.

Sean Lee - LB - Cowboys
Jerry Jones said LB Sean Lee (hamstring) could return this week.

Lee has been out since aggravating his hamstring issue in Week 9. Jones has said Lee will return to a starting job, but it makes sense for the Cowboys to limit his snaps with Jaylon Smith and rookie Leighton Vander Esch playing well.

Tavon Austin - WR - Cowboys
Jerry Jones said Tavon Austin (groin) has a chance to return this week.

Austin has been sidelined since Week 6 with a groin injury. He will likely get some gadget touches once he returns, but Austin is not a fantasy factor.

Get Hurns out of there and put Austin in. 3 guys that can get deep against single coverage.

This is the week to sit anyone who is limited in any way. It’s essentially a meaningless game.

Dont take everything so literal. I know a little football, I know the difference.

You're probably right but his talent is so high and his stock is so low that it would not surprise me if the Cowboys re-signed him.

He's only 25 years old and he is an incredible talent.

But there are rumors that he doesn't even like football anymore and that's on top of all the other off the field stuff.
he looked ok in his accident attorney ad.
