I’m very curious as to what people think and believe. Please here me out. In the past 4-5 seasons it’s pretty obvious that the NFL has made and added a ton of rule changes and new rules. A lot of the rules are very vague and calls could go either way much like the catch rule, pass interference, holding and so on.
We have seen blatant calls called the wrong way and some others over looked. We have seen pre play penalties that can alter games. We’ve seen post play penalties that have altered games.
We’ve seen them change a lot of rules for the kickoff and they claim that they are for players safety and while they might be it also is a way to control the outcome of games. See the kickoff and return games used to be one of the most game changing plays ever. A big return could completely swing a game the other way.
So they have made a huge deal out of concussions and players safety over the years but is it more about $? Not just money from lawsuits, trust me all major companies can take on lawsuits and the NFL is obviously one of the biggest companies in the world.
So here’s where I’m trying to take you all, any chance the NFL had a little preknowledge on the leagalizition of pro sports gambling? Now I’m not saying that it hasn’t mattered in the past but maybe knowing that a lot more people would have access to gambling that didn’t prior that most of the rules and changes are due to gambling.
With vague rules and game changes and the elimination of one of the most unpredictable plays I don’t think it’s just a coincidence. They want to control the outcome of the game. They want to manage the games.
Now I love football and I love my Dallas Cowboys and I will always love and watch no matter what and we are pretty much all die hard fans that no matter what we will watch but that doesn’t mean that these games are being controlled by gambling. Follow the money people and understand and be aware that money is what this is all about. Yes it’s the entertainment business and I am entertained but I like to make reasons to things that don’t make sense such as the Dez drop, or the fumble on the opening kickoff last week, or the too many men in the huddle or the pass interference flag that was picked up on Anthony Hitchens. Blatant calls that’s wether for better or worse they went the way they shouldn’t have been called.
To me it’s all about one thing we never talk about, the elephant in the room gambling/money.
Please mods don’t remove I would like to here other people’s thoughts on this.
