I know its not going to be popular but I am glad we lost

Being a 'motivator' is not enough to be a HC . 9 years , 2 playoff berths ... Its astonishing how Garrett still has a job .

You back? Where have you been for 5 weeks...lol I've heard crickets from you on Garrett the last 5 weeks.

There's a grand canyon size difference between a benofical loss and glad we loss.
Yep. That's bullpoo about being glad for a loss, that's just trying to rationalize the loss. The best we can do is take it as use it as motivation for the whole organization, they need to boost the focus, intensity and preparation each and every game. At least it happened now and have the chance to regroup and refocus, this game wasn't the end but a very abrupt warning.

I hear ya but id feel better if the offense played better than it did.

Its the same thing week in/out with this offense. Only difference was this week, Coop didnt break a few loose in the 4th quarter

The team needs to wake up and so do the fans.

When we win it hides all of our flaws and we tend to gloss over them or brush them aside.

For example we played terrible offensive football for 3 quarters last week against a depleated eagles secondary. But after the win, everyone seemed satisfied and content. Praising the offense for the comeback and win in overtime yet neglecting to acknowledge that the offense put the team in that position in the first place.

I had a bad feeling about this game all week, but I did not expect a shutout loss.

If I had to explain it, it's that the Cowboys expended a ton of emotional energy the past two weeks by taking down the Saints and then sweeping the hated Eagles.

It was probably a bit harder for them to get themselves charged up for a non-conference road game, but now there's a ton of questions about them. A ton.

Some of us been saying for 5 weeks, scoring 13 to 20 points per game won't do .

Now they scored 0 points .

Impossible to win ., well ... we need the defense to score now . (or change the coaching staff)

Lol bro, there were plenty of fans ripping the team and quarterback for that left and right all week long.

I’m not happy about that. I saw a loss at Indy, but not a total no show. That’s concerning for a team in Dallas’ position. Indy was playing the right way,the way a team should be who’s fighting for playoffs this time of year, and the effort from Dallas wasn’t there.

i would be okay with it if we had a real HC , there is no 'wake call' in the Garrett era .

The team will repeat this denial because they want to stay positive.

Getting whooped is bad and they should all feel embarrassed. There's no upside to this kind of *** kicking

There were some but a lot here there were about 6-7 threads rejoicing and celebrating how great the offense was.

I think there’s still a couple on the front page created after last weeks victory

Edit: most of them are on page 3-4 now. My apologies. I was incorrect about where they were located.

this team was drinking its own koolaid, they thought they show up and play and in the 4th quarter, they will make magic happen. their heads got big. they didn't look prepared. they looked like they were sleep walking....I think this game was OK to lose...it woke them up. get them refocused. earlier this week I predicted this was a game we probably would lose and it wouldn't be a bad thing.

one, it takes the pressure off of win streak....
two, a young team sometimes need their arses handed to them to wake up... Indy played with a sense of urgency, they have to win to even have a chance. they came to play. we were sleep walking and didn't show the same urgeny
three it allows them to refocus and start a new streak and get ready for playoffs.

the offense needs to get off its schnide....we have scored 0 TDs in 6 of 9 quarters now....that's a really bad trend...we have 13, 29 (really 23 at the end of regulation) and 0 in the past three games.... that's pretty bad.... they have to figure out the redzone issues, specially once inside the 10. else going into playoffs, we will be one and done...
Is it even better to get shut out?
