Other than the Saints..

I could not find anyone.

Unless you want to count the Iggles who are now 1 game behind us and closing.

This says it all.

The playoffs are not someplace we will succeed.

Our 90's something offense run by DAK who appears more and more to be a Quincy Carter Clone..

will not be able to score enough.

All the teams are good there except us.

I don't want us in the playoffs.. because it will be only for the sake of saying we were there. We don't have the Coaching to take us anywhere.

The talent.. yes! But not in the Coaching department. Coach Richards is the best NFL Coach on the team.

Same here, I'm just not sure to lay it all on Dak or the coaching staff. Dak is not the worst we could do though, so do they basically blow up the team by not signing Dak and drafting or signing another QB? I suppose it depends on if they think Dak can be fixed or he's hopeless on certain needed abilities.

DAK is a carbon copy.

I do not want DAK to fail.

But I also know that as he fails..

so do we.

You can love his work ethic and all the right things he says in interviews..

but when he gets out there..

Quincy had a much much livelier arm than Dak

About the Quincy Carter thing..

he was just like DAK being streaky and unable to fix his weaknesses.

Another QB failure in a long line of them.

What we need to do is save our money..

play him again next year and wait for 2020 and draft or sign a good FA QB.

Then let DAK go.

I really wish that the cowboys jones family does this. do not pay Prescott yet. let him prove that he can win a postseason game or games to see if he is worth over 20 million a year. we still have another year to wait.

I have concerns about Dak too, but Quincy Carter comparisons are over the top.

Dak: 66% completions, 7.4 yards per attempt, 62 TDs, 24 INTs

QCar: 56% completions, 6.5 yards per attempt, 29 TDs, 36 INTs

prescotts completion percentage is higher because he throws to zeke more. also carter has more picks because he threw the ball more downfield then prescotts does. if carter had a top running back when he started he might have more completions. carter was horrible with downfield targets, he had Galloway and the headcase Bryant as his best receivers, those two were not bad but carter was just that bad he could not get the ball to them. Prescott has much better talent around him and still cannot even throw downfield. if we had a qb with much better talent this offense would be one the top offense in the league. Prescott is holding this back and jones family is fine with that.
