Just like with Romo right or is it the schemeAs long as Dak is our QB, we'll never do anything in the playoffs.

I think Goff is more Carter than Dak is. Goff and Wince have been exposedAfter yesterday's performance...
I tried looking at our schedule to see who we have beaten this year that has a winning record..
Other than the Saints..
I could not find anyone.
Unless you want to count the Iggles who are now 1 game behind us and closing.
This says it all.
The playoffs are not someplace we will succeed.
Our 90's something offense run by DAK who appears more and more to be a Quincy Carter Clone..
will not be able to score enough.
All the teams are good there except us.
Correct me if I am wrong.
I am sure you guys will.
Winning the division is not going to help us.
Did Quincy have a sure TD passed dropped?I believe the last time the Cowboys were shut out Quincy Carter was QB.
I am sure he did.Did Quincy have a sure TD passed dropped?
Understand. No no and NO, I don’t think Dak is the long term answer but no way is he another Q.
He’s basically Alex Smith, I wouldn’t want him as my franshise QB but he can win when everything’s perfect around him, and since that rarely occurs then I’d rather look for another QB in the next 2 years.
Also, Dak seems like a great leader and a high character kind of guy, unlike Q.
Ouch.I believe the last time the Cowboys were shut out Quincy Carter was QB.
That's because he checks down 90% of the time with a screen pass dump off to a guy named Zeke. And Zeke gets the yards for him. Dak is a horrible QB. We all can see it.Wrong. Averages 7.3 yards per game. Cowboys opponents average 7.4 ypg. Even the strong armed Carson Wentz for his career averages 7.01 ypg.

I am beginning to wonder about DAKs ability to make field decisions. No no and NO, I don’t think Dak is the long term answer but no way is he another Q.

Or is that both Romo and DAK are not considered that good coming out of college?Just like with Romo right or is it the scheme
This is fun to post for Dak Bashers. But Quincy Carter had a drug problem at Georgia, was a 2-3 round over reach by Jerry Jones in the 2000 draft, and went 5-11 for 3 years with Campo the Clown as HC. With Parcells pulling/pushing the buttons, he went 10-6 taking the Cowboys to their first playoff appearance since 1996. He relapsed with drugs over and over again. After yesterday's performance...

I was not trying to compare their stats. There not even close in ability.
Carter was not very accurate and threw more interceptions than TDs each year he was with us. That Parcells got that team to the playoffs despite Carter is a testament to Parcells' coaching ability.
Prescott is a fairly accurate QB who is cautious with the ball, has temporary lapses of accuracy and doesn't read the field quickly enough at times to know he either has to get rid of the ball or run with it. He's accuracy is near the rate it was his rookie year. The problem is that his lapses in accuracy often kill drives for a team that likes to put together long drives and keep the scoring down. Because of this style of play, we can't afford missed opportunities.
I believe the last time the Cowboys were shut out Quincy Carter was QB.

When Dak Prescott was leading the Cowboys to 13-3 record in 2016, Quincy Carter was being arrested on warrants in Texas playing for the Corpus Christi Fury.
Too understand what the drugs took from the talent of Quincy Carter vs. Dak Prescott. If Carter did not relapse to drugs in 2004 Parcells was ready to cut Romo and ride with Carter, Testervede and Henson.
Dak is the total opposite of Quincy as a player and person. Dak is someone you want to be introduced by your daughter as her fiance. He has a MBA, will pursue a doctorate, and is a respected team leader. Dak is confident in his ability to win and success does not scare him.
Dak needs to become a more consistent passer which you can learn to do. Dak needs competition at QB to round him out as a consistent winner. Dak needs help at TE, WR, and OL. However, Dak does not deserve to be compared to Quincy Carter. They do not have anything in common on or off the field.
Dak has never had a losing season in high school, college or the pros. Dak shares the most wins in a season for Cowboys QB with Troy Aikman and Tony Romo. Neither did it their rookie year in the NFL.
Don't waste your time did the same with the #s The guy is another idiot trying to exaggerate Daks faults beyond what they really are time for Ignore . Sad these fools will go to any extreme to bash DakYour argument fails on the overall results as well.
I've posted the numbers to support my claim numerous times so I'm not doing that again. Nothing is going to change your feelz on the subject because you've offered little else as evidence.
Is Dak great? Nope. But he's not Quincy Carter.
Please....there are only 5 teams in the NFC with winning records, and one is the Vikings by a half game. After yesterday's performance...

We went 1-1 and defeated the top NFC team, at the time a SB favorite that was destroying everyone. We have a good chance of doing damage in the playoffs. If we make it to the SB, then you can run this back through, saying we had a bad record vs AFC teams with winning records.
BTW, the Eagles and Commanders would both have winning records if not for our Cowboys.
