Foles and Fitzpatrick here please. Both of them. Oooooooohweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Prolly be scoring like 31-52 points a game plus the defense would be holding foolz to below 21 pts a game. Geeez. It would be insane
Those guys are a joke .... they have had multiple chances and failed

Dak's ceiling is much higher... he is still a pup..... Romo hadn't thrown one pass at Dak's age

I don't like Nick Foles.

But honestly, if we spit the bit these last two games (which would mean Dak probably wasn't very good) and the Eagles win out and even make a little noise in the playoffs, even I might consider going to the dark side of the Folesian society and kick the tires on him if he makes it to FA.

The rest of that list is yuck.

Maybe Derek Carr in a reclamation project with a new coaching staff.

Foles isn’t a world beater , but he lost his job in Philly because the team wasn’t that good around him. HE couldn’t lift them up.
Didn't he just win the Super Bowl earlier this year???

That's a world beater. By any defination.

HE couldn't lift them up? He was good enough to lift up a Lombardi trophy.

Granted, the Cowboys organization loves Dak for some reason, so this discussion might be all-for-naught. But contrary to what the "we can't get anyone better than Dak right now" crowd says, there might be a few options, if the Cowboys wanted to explore them.

Here's a list of potential free agent QBs this offseason:

> Teddy Bridgewater -- catastrophic injury is completely behind him now, and he's only 26. Showed flashes in the 2018 preseason. There will probably be a big market for him.

> Nick Foles -- Slated to make $20 million next year, so the Eagles will have to let him go.

> Joe Flacco -- Looks pretty evident that the Ravens are ready to hand the reigns to Jackson. Doubt they'll keep Flacco as their backup

> Jameis Winston -- Pretty much a headcase, but he's 25 and would come relatively cheap.

> Derek Carr -- was playing at an MVP level 2 years ago before getting hurt. Gruden is cleaning house, so may Carr may be purged also.

> Ryan Tannehill -- He'll probably be retained by the Dolphins since they Osweiler is their only other legit QB with experience. But Tannehill has proven he can't lead the Dolphins anywhere, so they may cut bait.

> Josh McCown -- old but reliable. Would he be a good stop gap?

> Brock Osweiler -- has played better with the Dolphins than he did with the Texans or Browns. And he's still only 28.

> Tyrod Taylor -- he's a good leader and has had moderate levels of success. And he's only 29.

> Ryan Fitzpatrick -- Fitzmagic in Big D for a year or two?

Who would you be intrigued by? I'd take 4-5 of these guys over Dak right now.

Give me Carr.

Flacco by far. If Garrett and Linehan are here.

With Zeke, he fits the type of offense that they both normally want to run. He’s a big-armed QB that played under Cad Cameron’s Coryell offense, though the Ravens fired him mid-season and they went on to with the SB and Flacco has one of the all time great playoff runs.

Flacco plays too much like Dakko for me.

Flacco is a playoff beast and is a big armed QB, that goes for chunks. With Zeke, Flacco is making us competitive in the playoffs IMO. The Ravens haven’t had a rushing attack in a few years.

Flacco sucks.... watch every week in MD

I’m in MD too and I hardly doubt you watch the Ravens every week.

He sucks so bad, he’s traditionally in a top half scoring offense his whole career and in his SB run has had one the greatest QB performances in history.

You think Dak is good, so your opinion on QBs is really what sucks.

Flacco has fallen off the map.

They have no real running game and haven’t for awhile. They are winning now because Lamar is rushing like 20 times a game as a QB. The guy has 114 rushing attempts in 5 games as the starter which isn’t close to sustainable. The guy is throwing less than 60%.

Their WR core is trash as well.

He's had QB ratings of sub 85 for four straight years now.

You can't really argue at this point that he's a really good QB.

The thing is the Dak haters are always going to be haters no matter what he does. He could take us to 3 Super Bowls and they still would want him replaced. Would I rather have Dak or Wentz or Goff? Going forward for me is Dak, like it or not, doesn't matter. If we get a guy potentially better than him in the draft and he beats Dak out, then I am fine with that when we find one. They just aren't in the draft yet especially this year.

Would I want any of the guys mentioned in this thread as replacement, God NO. Now what I would like to see is an innovative OC, it is time to move on from Linehan and don't care if he is Garrett's best bud.

We played horrid against the Colts but we also played most of the game without our starting guards which makes a huge difference in the run and pass plays. Did we see Linehan change anything such as roll outs, quick slants, screens, short TE throws, sweeps or anything to change things up. Nope just the same play calling. For those that see Dak as the main problem, they might also look at other areas.

Joe Flacco playoff #'s:
56.6% completion %
25 TDs to 10 INTs
Sacked 28 times in 15 games(since we blame QBs on for sacks now)
7.21 ypa
Passer rating: 88.6(for reference Dak's passer rating all three seasons are 104.9, 86.6, and 94)

That is Fantasy Land..... he is an 85 Rating QB and that blows.... he had one good run in the Playoffs when Anquan Boldin went up and caught every duck he threw up

But the remaining contract would be right about what we would pay Dak. Ive read they just wanna dump him. Me personally I'd go tet Carr whos still young. But either is better than Quicncy prescott.
He also hasn’t had a good team around him. They traded his 2 Nd best receiver. Then his best we got hurt. They never have a running game or defense. It’s foolish to only look at stats.
Brady won more than manning in the playoffs, but Brady’s defense wasn’t giving up 30 plus points like Manning’s. Watch the players not just the stats. Stanford is a good qb trapped in Det.

With Zeke. The only qbs that won without a running game is Brady. He only did it because his defense was amazing and he dumps it off to slot guys to replace the running game. Later in his career, he had running games.

By that logic, Dak blows because he has 5 games at 85 or way less, while having defenses stacking the line to stop Zeke, who faces more stacked boxes in the NFL than any other RB.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure Flacco was just throwing it up for 11 TDS and 0 INTs out if pure luck, because clearly Boldin was doing that regularly his whole career.

So your manipulating stats..

This is the idiocy of people that rely wholly on stats. Flacco in the AFC plays in freezing cold conditions in the playoffs, whether it’s New England, Pittsburgh or even Baltimore, and hasn’t had a running game since Ray Rice, while Dak plays in a dome stadium and can’t win away from home and has the best RB in the league who faces more stacked boxes than any other RB. One throws the ball downfield and has arguably one of the greatest playoff runs in history as a SN QB carrying that squad on his back, while Dak is a joke, who can’t thrie downfield consistently to save his life.

The ‘offense’ that they changed to make it more Dak-friendly was the same offense that Flacco ran, with less help, and Dak set all sorts of records in futility, from being held scoreless for ten straight quarters to 4 INTs returned for TDs and so on.

Weeden basically had the same numbers as Dak over here without Zeke and being a checkdown Charlie.
