Is Romo a hall of famer?

So, by your standard a guy who has 2 great years and then decides he want's to go into another line of work and quits football is a better HOF candidate than a guy who never quite had the same years, but was a step below and was dedicated to it for 15-20 years? I'll have to take another view. While Eli was never a Brady/Brees/Rodgers level guy (or Peyton either), he has been a consistently solid, reliable QB for many years, and has been a key part of a lot of team success. I'm on the fence about whether that is enough for me to say Eli belongs in the HOF, but hat kind of consistency and dedication over many years, for me, does have value and is worth something.
 
I think Romo is worthy of hall of fame. He does own all the Dallas Cowboys passing records which should count for a lot. He is not a 1st ballot obviously. But still a damn good quarterback. Yes, hall of fame worthy.

Most reports I’ve read said Eli isn’t getting in.

I just think his career stats are more worthy than Romo.

If Romo had played for more than 7 full seasons he might have ran up more career stats. Like Rivers.

There isn't a regular season Hof. There also isn't a playoff Hof. Dan Marino never did anything in the playoffs either lol...

Lmao, are you serious? So one play in a game and another game verses NON conference teams that mean nothing is HOF material? Bahahahaha!

I know there's no regular season HOF. That was my point! When the game was on the line in IMPORTANT end of season or post season games he buckled..

LOL reports can say what they want, when the time comes, they are putting him in...

A 2x super bowl MVP that has two of the most iconic super bow throws over the New England Patriots, along with beating them when they were nearly undefeated, will get him in.

He’s a lock.

Actually, most players get into the HOF due to regular season stats...

I wouldn’t say Marino didn’t do anything. He played in 18 playoff games.. Only 2 seasons did he only play in one, the rest were multiple playoff appearances and of course the one Super Bowl appearance.

You're not reading what I said. That Romo did nothing past the regular season. Romo's stats aren't even that great. Team-wise, sure. But top 6-10 QBs in their era aren't making the HOF.
Why are we even talking about Marino? Good god people.
And I wasn't JUST referring to JUST stats. And he's not in for the regular season.
He played in 18 play off games!
