Cousins would be great here. I think he's been fine in Minnesota - he's putting up better numbers than Keenum did in 2017. Their schedule has been tougher in 2018 - they had to play the Saints and at the Rams, Patriots, and Seahawks.

Dak lulls the other team to sleep. They don't feel like they have to score 28 points to beat us. So then the game is a slow low scoring affair which fits into Dak's conservative style. Dak is talented enough to make a good play at crucial times in the game. He can hurt you with his legs. He would rather take a galling sack than throw an interception. Throws lots of low risk-low gain passes but won't throw costly picks regularly.

As of this posting Cousins has led a team to a division title once in the 4 years he’s been a full time starter. Romo led the Cowboys to three division titles in 10 years. Dak has led the Cowboys to two division titles in his first 3 years. It’s not all about stats.

Cousins is the biggest flake in the NFL. He's finessed 130+ million million dollars guarenteed from the Racial Slurs and Viqueens they last 3 years. He's always coming apart in close games. I would take Dak over him.

Cousins is pretty meh. Give him Sean McVay as the OC and a bunch of good receivers and he can darn near crack 5,000 passing yards. Give him Jay Gruden running the show or a crappy Vikings OL and he looks a lot more average.

He's basically only as good as the talent around him. That's the case for a lot of QBs in the league so it's not the dig it might sound like, but he's not a guy I'd be crazy to get either.

The Vikings were correct to pay him whatever he wanted because they seriously looked to be a QB away from the Super Bowl, and even as meh as Cousins is, he was still the best quarterback to hit the market in years.
