I don't think it is FDA approved, Hardline. Once the FDA gets a hold of it, they will suck all the good vibrations out of it leaving just a placebo. :(
I wouldn't touch anything that's not FDA approved.

Recently, I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my wrists and shoulders. It is not debilitating by any means, but it is a nuisance. I was prescribed a non-sreriod anti-inflammatory drug along (which has helped) along with recommendations for an "anti-inflammatory" diet.

It was also suggested that I try CBD oil as a topical treatment to reduce inflammation. Being the anally-retentive sort, I read everything I could find about CBD oil first before trying. Admittedly, the jury s still out on the therapeutic value and there is wide-ranging debate on, let's just say, the quality control of the product. That said, I do seem to be benefitting from its use.

What are your experiences with CBD oil? Any particular brands you would recommend?
Try soaking raisins in Gin. They make all the aches and pains of osteoarthritis go away. I swear it works for my wife and I.

Thanks @lukin2006. Good article that highlights some of my concerns - lack ok unified testing standards means the composition and quality can vary greatly.

That's why . . . might be a good idea to DIY.

There are methods to extract CBD that work better than others, with no BS.

CO2 is one of them.

My dad has Parkinsons, so I've doing some research.

Oh, heck, I've been an expert on this topic for decades.

:)

CBD is now legal in all 50 states.

It's so great to see the progress happening, in some areas, in this country.

Thanks for the information and, in particular, your experience with turmeric. I've read a lot about turmeric as an anti-inflammatory remedy but haven't tried it yet.

Yes, I am aware of the long-term issues with NSAIDs - something I discussed early with my doctor and one of the main reasons I am looking for alternatives.

Thanks again!

I would recommend trying CBD capsule....

Since it's not debilitating or too painful, that's probably going to be more effective.

And, it will not get you high..
