he proved he can still get on your last nerve even when he plays well...ha..no Dak homer here His play today didn't prove anything to me that starts next week but it's not killing me that he played well today.

By that logic, I’m proving I can get on your last nerve..

Dak hasn’t proven anything other than his track record... Dallas defense came up with a 3 and out after the Giants took the lead, giving the ball back to Dallas on a final drive with no consequences for Dak..

I only watched the first half where he looked mediocre to average like I said and when I checked the numbers, the Giants were up at the end, meaning Dallas was blowing leads.

That being said, I’m not sure what this proves other than all the excuses about his past play were garbage... it was him missing wide open WRs, not hitting them in stride. I saw the last play and I can’t believe the Giants wouldn’t play pretty much prevent on that, Beasley was that wide open.
Oh I'm not saying Dak hasn't been playing below average on a regular basis, but today wasn't one of those days. I wish I had the confidence to say something finally clicked, but he's looked good before, only to regress the following week.

I will say, I think he looked better than I've ever seen him, to my eyes. Maybe all the "It factor" talk gave him more confidence.

I just figure if they're gonna be so quick to stop the play for a sack, they should be just as quick to call it on a receiver's forward progress.
We might be 4-5 years from QBs playing the games with RED jerseys on.

Randy Gregory lost a couple of sacks this season due to getting flagged for falling on the QB or going low when most felt he did nothing wrong.

The NFL is serious about protecting its passers.

How about you stop getting your feelings hurt?

Lol. My feelings aren't hurt. My man just stepped in with a scrub o-line, no Zeke, and proved he could win with his arm against a divisional foe playing their hearts out.

Over and over, you prove your lack of football acumen. Seriously, become a solitaire expert. You'll seem like a genius to yourself.

Dak Prescott would NOT have won this game in 2016 or '17, IMO.

The pressure would've bothered him too much, he'd go into ball protection mode and start checking it down without giving downfield receivers a chance to get open.

He still has plenty of issues, but Dak will now keep looking downfield and pull the trigger.

That's the biggest change I've seen in his game.

It must suck to be so wrong all the time.

I hope you weren’t as big a Romo fan as I think with THAT logic because the level of chokness he showed over the years negates anything he ever did. His track record in big games sucked.

This "choke" crap is exactly that...crap. What makes it a big game? Playing against a good team.......Losing to a good team isn't choking, it just means their team was better than yours that day.

Any sack is one too many for some on here.

And if he didn’t get sacked they would whine that he almost did once, or threw the ball away when he should have found an open receiver.
And the sacks are largely tied to OL play.

Dak had 4 games before the burning of Atlanta last season where he took 3 or more sacks (23 reg season games excluding '16 finale). That's 17% of games.

In the next 24 games, Dak has 13 games with 3 or more sacks. That's 54% of games.

Some are without question Dak's fault, some are the receivers not getting open, but the primary culprits are the big uglies.

It is what it is this season, but I do expect the OL to be much better in pass pro next season and I hope they come up big now in the playoffs

Absolutely agree with Garrett there.

Don't know about that. His clock management at the end of the game was horrendous. NY was running up and down the field on our defense and he allowed the offense to score with more than enough time for NY to get in position for a winning FG.

:laugh:Well he does have to be Garrett. But with this offense you have to score when you can.

I'll never understand that last series. Giants had 2 TOs yet abandoned the run and were throwing sideline routes. Absolutely terrible game management when all you need is 20 yards for a FG attempt..
Yup, and that’s why they will be in the top 5 - 10 in the draft

Just got home from work missed the game, but from watching these highlights a lot of business decisions were being made by those defenses
