Glad to see Dak put up some numbers and pad his season stats.
Im not in the group that bashes him.

But be honest now; this was by far the most meaningless game of the season and the Giants defense was a total sieve.
Glad we won anyway. But I dont even remotely think the game told us anything new
I think you're a good poster but you're biased against him and saying he's padding his stats makes it pretty clear. It meant a lot for all the dudes on the field. Not sure how you could watch and think any different. Him being the best player on the field meant a lot.

how you gonna give him an offensive line if you pay him the big bucks?

We already have one, most are just injured. Our second round pick is getting great experience and should be much improved with another offseason of strength conditioning. Backups are solid. As long as Frederick comes back healthy next year we should have a very good Oline if we don't add anybody.

I see its a team thing, as long as it explains away Dak not accomplishing something. But the moment when it comes to praising Dak it is a Dak thing and not a Team thing anymore. Would we even be in the playoffs this year without the Cooper trade?

So babbling is your argument?

People get riled over being called Dak "Hater," but the lunacy displayed in this thread by the usual suspects clearly cements their legacy as true haters.

I'd understand if we were out of the playoffs, but geez.

It's that a lot of people see today's win as nice, but to us it is sheer lunacy how people, including the ownership, is willing to open up their pocket books to overpay a player after a meaningless game. Why can't we wait to see how Dak looks during the playoffs before proclaiming such things? The kind of money that Dak might get can cripple the cowboys in other areas, such as losing their best player Zeek. And usually it is okay to pay a Quarterback that kind of money if they're they best player on the team and they can overcome losing pieces because you paid them.

So tell me Kreskin, what are the Cowboys going to pay him, and how much will it affect our cap? With all your bluster, you have no idea how it's all going to shake out.

You do realize that our cap is actually paying franchise money to a QB who doesn't even play for us, right?

Tool.

The thing is: people are talking about giving Dak a worthy OL as in getting free agents are drafting even more offensive linemen. I mean: why even mention that we need to give Dak a worthy OL, when you know we have injuries, unless you plan on spending there?

Because guys like you still don't understand why he is inconsistent at times and why all of a sudden he was great in 2016 and now is playing the worst football of his career.

Are you aware of the injuries to the Oline this year? Why would you spend in FA for a center or draft one if Frederick is making a full recovery?

The Dak crowd has little to add so they always go back to name calling. It's funny, because the main point being made here was that Stephen Jones, and earlier Jerry Jones, aren't helping us by drolling all over Dak like a bunch of homers, because that will drive the price up. And then there are those of us who are worried that they not really even trying to negotiate themselves a fair price and ready just to throw money at Dak. Funny how you guys don't have faith in the ownership when it comes to things like hiring coaches, but when it comes to contract negotiations, you don't mind them overspending, probably secretly because you are such big fan boys yourself that you willing to pay Dak any price anyway yourself.

LOL...……..Your ability to analyze a simple quote is as horrid as your ability to analyze a young QB obviously.

I gave the kid his props. What more would you like? I liked what I saw when he worked the pocket, or rolled out keeping his eyes down field directing his receivers and allowing them to make plays. He showed a lot of growth in these areas today.
