If he can battle his demons as Randy Gregory has yes I would, he's a talented football player he's just a knucklehead, but you have to want to be helped before anyone can help you.
Gregory's was marijuana and depression.
Irving's is coke, baby mama drama, lack of interest in football and possibly depression.
Irving is not a bad guy when listening to him. His ambition has been shot and that type of drug is highly addictive because of the temporary escape it provides.
When you come down from it nothing matters but the pain and making it go away. At that point the temptation to make it go away temporarily is very strong and easy to do if you have the money.
Only way is to get off the wheel and bite the pain and clean up and assess yourself a program to rehabilitate yourself. Chris Carter did it and we had our own Michael Irvin who somehow could function. He may have been more for the party where Irving is for the escape of problems.
I have never done it before but I have seen many people unfortunately and it's a scary disease to watch people live through.
If Irving is working on that first and foremost I don't blame him because believe me, there will never be the focus needed in any aspect of his life and career with that disease taking over his life.
So let him rehabilitate if that's what he's doing. He is not distracting the team and they seem to be giving him his privacy.
