Did Jarwin block Bobby Wagner in the back on Dak's 3rd and 14 run?

Just looked at the replay amazed that Dak got by Wagner. I think it might have been because Jarwin blocked Wagner in the back. What say you?

Go to the 6 minute mark in the video, which shows multiple replays of the play.

Just curious, because it would have been a game changer if they would've called the penalty.

why bring this up now we can talk all the plays especially the questionable hold on the Tavon TD, the no call on PI, and others throughout game for both sides..its over...move onto the Rams..

BTW the block in the backs that happen more because the defender mad e sudden change of direction as the blocker was starting to block shouldnt be called they turn their back into the blocker as it happens quite often especially down in the box dont get called. I just saw that play on NFL network, not block in back because Bobby turned from forward to headed back toward dak as Jarwin was blocking but never really touched him enough to call it block..so NO it wasn't a foul..

“Blocks in the back” happen a lot inside the box where bodies are flying everywhere.

They are rarely called.

In the open field is where most of those calls happen.

Just watched it. No, he was hat on hat, and Wagner just blew past him very quickly. Wagner just mis-timed it and went early and dove trying to make the play, had he waited a half second longer it would have worked.

It looks like a block in the back because a) wagner is diving and b)wright is taking wagner out. But wagner was past jarwin at that point, and Jarwin did not create that kind of force.

How about that block in the back they called that took away Tavons punt return?
It looked pretty clear to me that the block was square on the sholder at worse and approaching the chest more than the back.

Yeah as soon as I saw him breaking away I knew they were gonna flag something. And it was ticky tack. Gotta keep the game close. That would have broken the game open.

Not this game, but how many times have we seen Tyron Smith get called for holding or block to back because he manhandled his guy and the sudden change of direction from the defender falling puts Tyron in position that makes it look like he's committing a penalty if you pause at that very moment? Is there a replay I can see of Jarwin?

Forgot the exact play but was a run to the left and the Seahawks blocked LVE in the back big time. Thankfully Jaylon was there to make the tackle or it would have been a decent gain.

I watched it slow mo from a sky view angle and I'm still mesmerized by Wagners whiff. After watching Wagner play this year (all pro level), he just missed or gave up thinking someone else had the tackle. Still can't believe it. A "block in the back" had nothing to do with it.
