Too easy. These dudes are funny. I work with this Patriots fan who loves Saquan. They really act like dude is some mutant. He’s top5 but people hype him too much. And since he’s a rookie I’ll give him the same treatment people gave ZekeJust like he did, when he let Heath chase him down?
Someone pointed this out last week(I'm too lazy to look it up) that Zeke falls forward for yardage even when he's stopped. So I looked for it Saturday and sure enough there were several times where that two or three extra yards made a big difference. Two huge factors helped us win this game:
1)Zeke's ability to break an inside run outside and make the edge. That was an incredible run.
2)Zeke's ability to come up to the LOS w/ nothing there, and still get 2-6 yards. He did this all game and it was a monster reason why we won.
And no, absolutely no, not just any RB could have done this.
We do not win this game w/ an average RB.
What if Zeke goes all L’eveon Bell and decides it makes no sense that Dak makes two and a half times as much as him and that he should be paid like an RB1 and a WR2
Blake is now Jim.Fact. Bears eat beets. Bears. Beets. Battlestar Galactica.
It only took me one preseason game to be a believer in his abilities. Been defending him ever since, including the first game of his career against the Giants where people acted like he sucked because he couldn't get yards despite being hit in the backfield on almost every run.Anyone out there still wants Ramsey? I have been on the Zeke bandwagon since before he was drafted.

The Seahawks were 30th in the league in yards per carry allowed..... so almost the worst in the entire league against the run... I'm mot sure where you got the run strangling defense from, it couldnt be more wrong lol. Zeke actually only averaged .4 yards per carry more than the average RB(replacement) so that even furthers my points. Thank you.
Zeke is a very good running back. But whenever he likely isnt even the best RB in the league at any given season putting him in that company is just silly.
There was no question who the best in the league was during LT and Peterons tenure. Emmitt has an asterisk since Sanders was also a true all-time great.
You're right about Seattle's run defense, though they finished above-average (13th) in this category this year they aren't as good as I thought.
But I think Zeke is the most complete back in the NFL this year since Le'Veon Bell held out. Saquon Barkley is good, but he's a guy that gets 40 yards on 20 carries before breaking out a 70 yard run, and everybody looks at the final stats and thinks he dominated.
Zeke gives you the dirty yards, the four, five, two, six, three, seven yard gains that gradually wear a defense down and eventually breaks their will.
The discussion was about replacement of RBs. Hunt was one that had to be replaced midseason.
Hunt is thought of as a very good running back and many metrics point to that. They end up having to plug in two different back ups, after the initial backup got injured too. Then their rushing numbers go up across the board, despite Ksk claiming a "major dropoff".
It just goes to show that situation is so much more important to RB success than actual talent. Much more so than any other position.
He likes to eat! He doesn't leave meat on the bone!! Lol
Go watch the video on Zeke is the man threadFunny how we go from Joseph Randal to Zeke, we we're still using eating, food metaphors.
Zeke is a great “finisher”. He may be the best RB I’ve ever seen get so many yards after contact. He’s a home run threat every down for sure but his ability to turn a poorly blocked play into a 3-4 yard gain is remarkable. That’s the kind of thing that can be huge in the playoffs where every yard is critical.

And also it's pretty damning that Zeke only got 3.00 yards after contact per rush last night, which would have been 29th in the NFL. So your 2--6 extra yards comment is misinformed.
He has to play better for us to go deep in the playoffs. Consistently getting taken down on first contact by DBs and tripping over his own feet in the redzone just can't happen.
And evidence has shown runningbacks are replaceable, it's been proven over and over and over and over and iver and over and over thats why its such a big topic of conversation. I guess you are the one who evidence isnt important to
Remember 2015 when Demarco Murray left?
Remember 2017 when Zeke was suspended?
Remember how the cowboys fared during emmitts hold out? 0-2 without him. Super bowl champions with him.
The running back matters.
Yep they are a dirty *** teamIt probably didn't help that they were twisting the Cowboys' ankles....
