I truly think we have the talent, to make it to, and WIN the Super Bowl but our coaches, both Offensive and Defensive, are going to have to do their jobs, well! Garrett is going to need to be on the top of his game( clock management, in game adjustments, when to challenge, when to go up tempo, etc). Linehan has to have a smart creative game plan and NOT be predictable in his play calls. Design some pass patterns to help our receivers( Amari in the slot, Beasley does something besides a 7 yard in or out, crossing patterns with subtle rub routes etc,) Marinelli and Richards need to design some timely blitzes, find a way to slow down Gurley and disrupt their play action passing game, etc.

Coaching Matters lot!

We WILL do this!!

We have gone as far as any reasonable fan can EXPECT us to have gone. If we win any more games from now on, it would be because we are performing above ourselves. That's not to say it can't happen, just that further advancement is unlikely. However you look at it, this has been a successful season and the immediate future looks very bright.

Future looks bright if we win this game.
Otherwise it is status quo.
No reason to think otherwise since this has been the ceiling for the past 2 decades.
Guess I'm not reasonable, but also not delusional...

I disagree. We beat what many say it’s the best team in the Saints and we’ve won 7 of 8. We run. We stop the run.

We can beat anyone left and we shouldn’t be surprised at any victories.

Exactly , we are playing with house money at this point with this young team. Yes we want to win it all, but we know that there's 2 teams that are maybe 4 -5 teams that are favored in front of us. We will be underdogs the rest of the way in everybody across the country eyes. Just enjoy the ride

We beat them at home, we beat them when they were as my grandma says, "they were smelling themselves"
They won't be if we see them again, and it will be a different game , although we can win it.

Don’t forget. Their only td was on a clear push off and we took a kneel down at the one to end the game. So we essentially beat them by 10.

I don’t believe they were overconfident. I think we just whipped them. They couldn’t do much.

Maybe we’ll find out the following Sunday

Hoping they put Lewis on Gurley like they did with Kamora of New Orleans, he’s a beast to cover as a receiving back....

If I remember right, a lot if not most of the people on this board, predicted 7 wins, maybe 8 if we got lucky from this team this year. And when the team was sitting at 3-5, a lot of people said we wouldn't win another game, and some said, we shouldn't win another game so we could get a better draft spot and/or get Coaching staff fired. Now that the team has proven them wrong, now it's win this weekend or it doesn't matter.. And if we do win this weekend, it will be, yea well win next weekend or it doesn't matter.. and on and on and on.

This is a young team with a lot of talent and the heart of a champion. I don't know if we will win or not but I do believe we will show up and play hard and give them all they want. The Rams should win this game, they went 13-3,. no one had a better record.. they are at home, they have an offensive "genius" as a coach and the most dominate player in the NFL on D.

This game will come down to which group of Lineman play the best. While we shouldn't win this game, I do like our chances. But win or lose, I think this group of players, yes, even Dak (as much as I question his overall talent level), can be special together. I look forward to this rest of this season and I am excited about the next years to come from this team.

Considering we were 3-5 and almost dead in the water.

I am with YOU. Spare all the fluff comparison comments regarding positive, negative or realist fans.
Put some final bottom line visible results on this thing by winning. This specific roller coaster year and its playoff participants has proven to anyone with eyes that no ONE team truly appears any great deal better than another. For all intents and purposes, this is about as level a playing field as its ever gonna get in pro ball. I'm a now or never guy myself. Next year is next year. Whole new ball of wax.

Old Nike ad...Just Do It, just like the OP' s intention was, I thought...Probably just me.

I would hope for this to be the plan as well.

Although Gurley is much bigger. If they decide to run we could be in trouble with Lewis, it would have to be only obvious passing done or situation.

The NFL is a win now league. This is a great opportunity for this current group of players. Take advantage of them when they come. We could come back even better next year but we can just as easily come back worse. This is most likely not the start of anything it is one year that will stand alone so lets make it count.

Yeah he said it better by stressing more to the point of this particular year's own sense of urgency. So yeah, what he said.

Exactly right. We've been here before.

The one thing that gives me hope is that we finally have a defense that can keep us in games. I saw an amazing stat recently about the 2014 and 2016 Packer Playoff games and they converted 73% of 3rd downs in those games. We could never get off the field.

This feels different.

I think you underestimate the talent on this team and your expectations are to low. I sure hope and think the players expectations are higher than yours. If the coaches show up, the players will show up big time. No team is dominant this year.

We WILL do it!
