Hola, Cowboy fans!! My question is do you think that Jason Witten would have still retired if he thought there was a chance that we could be where we are right now? Did he retire because he knew he wouldn't have a chance at the prize? Is he kicking himself right now? Your thoughts?

Hard to say what he feels, He was given a chance to step into a broadcasting gig and knowing he was on the downhill side of his career made a move I think for himself and his family. If he knew this season would have gone this way sure maybe he would.

Yes the opportunity he got from ESPN and the $$$ was substantial. Too good to pass up

Would they be better off if he stayed or did he have nothing left in the tank?

He will be gone from Monday Night after the season ends.

He can have Babe Laufenburg's job.

I was watching his highlights on youtube.

He has just one..an interception.

He is a dog IMO.

Witten was tired of Garrett and Jerry, not surprised he retired.

Jason Witten's toupee looks so bad because nothing can properly cover Jason Witten.
Not bashing Witten, because every single NFL player enhances, by using "gear" causes hair loss and sometimes when you break from using "gear" the hair comes back. Just saying. But yeah, I'd say he has a rug. The dude needs to just leave it be. Too young for a rug.

Had Witten not retired, maybe the offense is just slightly better and we don’t trade for Cooper...

Yes, I hope he enjoyed the dollars he made this year because he will not see the broadcast booth for quite some time. Love the guy, but he doesn't have those talents to make him a valuable entity in the booth.

Does it really matter? He retired and we replaced his 2017 production on the field

There is no way he retires if he thinks we go for a superbowl
