Anybody giving up or through with the Cowboys?

Albert Einstein is widely credited with saying, “The definition of insanity is watching the Dallas Cowboys doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results.”

:muttley:

I'm not even emotional tonight. I expected to lose. The 21st century Cowboys have conditioned me to expect it at this point of the season.

I'll be a fan forever because I've been one since 1971, but my emotional investment will never be the same. I hope to be surprised, but expect to be disappointed.

It's easier to watch when you have no feelings attached to the game. It's almost comical coming in here reading the game day posts. Oh the emotions.

I never thought this team would win 6 games this year to getting as far as they did is a pleasant surprise.

I think they will be better next year. I expect both Jaylon Smith and LVE to be a little smarter and quicker reading plays, like Sean Lee. I am hoping the young secondary will be smarter too which will result in more INTs. This defense needs to figure out how to take the ball away. I want to see Taco, Randy Gregory and A Woods with one more year of experience and weight room.

But the Cowboys have had teh same problems for a while. They need a playmaking safety who can play the run and a stout defensive tackle who can clog the middle and get the double and triple teams off of DLaw.

On offense, just getting Travis Frederick back will be a big help. If Connor Williams can get stronger he will be an upgrade too.

When the Cowboys get beat, they get beat in the trenches on both sides of the ball. Something for Jerry to think about.

We'll probably miss the playoffs because of our schedule and that's been the pattern with Garrett. He never has his teams prepared for the divisional round. But he's going to get an extension.

I stopped being emotionally attached until this year. When the Bears kicker missed the kick and we got the Rams, I knew our season was over. But I'll always be a fan I guess. LOL

I'm not really all that upset. I didn't really expect the defense to be as good as it had been for most of the year. I didn't expect the offense to be any good without a true wr1. I didn't think we would even make the playoffs, but I hoped we would. Bottom line is we lost to a better team and there's no shame in that.

Having said that I want Garrett, Linehan and Moore gone like months ago.

Nope, and if they are you wont likely see them posting right now lol.
