Me personally? I would have stopped running much sooner. They actually didnt sell out against the run, you're just guessing.

Dak was playing well, while Zeke had a very poor outing. It would have been a super easy choice.
I'm not guessing, go watch it again.

No one seems to answer my question, so let’s try you. Do your think our O line is good enough that we should spend more money on Zeke as opposed to the O line?
Like I said if we lost the ignorant haters would be out in force today.

A hole? Apparently I need to watch this play again

Lets put it this way............there was no hole where he went. Brief hole where he didnt go. Watch it again and you will see. They did the replay several times so you can see it.

Glad you're not in charge.
Lol, yeah, because the Cowboys success over the last 25 years has been mesmerizing. I can see the Jerry Aid dripping off your chin from here. I’m not so glad there are millions of fans like you who accept mediocrity and continue to make excuses for poor performances.

It's not like he was even bad. He had one play in which he probably should have cut left to make a first down, but other than that, he had no place to go.
We lost in the trenches on both sides.

LOL really downplaying that “one play”.

Give context of what down that was and the time of the game.

Mr. “MVP” didn’t come up clutch, did he?

Don't keep the best player on the team? How in the hell is any RB supposed to run with how that OL blocked last night? How do you think Gurley or Anderson would have done running behind this OL?

Don't blame the rock toter, look at the players supposed to block for him and while you're at it, look on the other side of the line as well. The Cowboys didn't have a DL or OL worthy of winning a divisional round game last night.

I'll go with both. Draft O-line and retain Zeke and Beasely. Draft O-line, D-line, Saftey, TE with top picks. Try to aquire a top performer in at at least one of these positions through FA.

Id look hard at D-line and Saftey in FA specifically

Yeah. There was a big hole on the left. Zeke just ran straight up the middle.

What about the rest of the game?

Tough going. Our Oline right now is terrible. They were stacking 9 and 10 guys in the box. Nowhere for him to go and coaching staff doing same old tired nonsense. Dak didnt have a designed run until 2 minutes left in the 4th quarter. No roll outs, no bootlegs. Not one deep pass. This was as conservative a cookie cutter game plan as Garrett rolls out most weeks.

Downplaying it? No. He probably would have gotten a first down, not even definitely. It sure as Hell wouldn't have put 8 more points on the board.
Of all the people to blame for this loss, he's the last one anyone should be looking at.

Ideally. I would disagree with Beasley though, can’t stand him.

I know that. I've been trying to tell people here that they sold out to stop the run.

...it’s hilarious that you folks think we can’t replace an RB

You get we made McFadden a 1,000 yard receiver and Murray had a better season than Zeke ever had, right?

This is not an RB league. Get it through your heads!

Let me guess. You were claiming this offense didn't need a number 1 like Cooper.

This is a talent driven league. Get it through your head

You throw McFadden in there and Someone like Hurns outside you don't even reach the playoffs.

Your way would be much worse. You'd let our best player walk ? That's dumb.

They were the LAST ranked defense againtsuthe run in the entire league. Every other team was successful with much less at RB. Our O line got man handled, plain and simple. It doesn’t matter what you call when there aren’t holes to run through.

This is why the entire “he’s the best RB in the league because he has the most yards” is ridiculous. There’s so many other reasons for Zeke’s success that have much more to do with other aspects of the offense then himself but everyone wants to talk about how he is our sole reason for success. That guy would be mediocre at best without a very good O line (as most RB’s woud be). Obviously receivers, QB’s and coaching (to a degree) come into play as well.
Care to rethink the Rams run D?
