Tough game. Defense didn't play well, but that was a given.. Thye played a very good offense and all things considered fought hard. held them to field goals...

End of the day, the game was there to be won. They dared dak to win with his arm. With a more efficient QB we win this game.

This guy has so much more than most QB's the team has all the things in place to make noise except for ... DAK.. One of the best olines, one of the best RB's one of the best defenses, good wo's this guy can't win.. he's a scrub. Resigning him and loosing out on other more important players that we should resign will be imprending mediocracy for this franchise for more years to come. He is the issue.
Hang around, you're gonna be a big hit around here.

Gonna have to agree to disagree. This is an offensive league. There are times where the D no matter how good it is, is going to give up points. This game should've and wouldve been won if we had a half way competent QB.. period.
It's an offensive league yet. In the game the old adage of stopping the run, making a team one dimensional and dictating the pace of the game rung true. Every superior top seed that one this weekend ran the football, stopped the run, and converted on third down. New England and The Rams had 4 100 yard rushers and The Chiefs found their running game against a Colts defense that was on fire going into the game last night.

Football is still the same simple game it's always been. As much as McMavey is an offensive genius he still played fundamental old school football and he's got a rematch with the Saints.

Playing bully ball. On offense and defense.

Ya lets give Dak a new Billion dollar contract!!
I mean our passing game is top 5 and Dak top 5 in the league.
We haven't had this type of passing attack ever!!!
Defenses fear the Dak man they tremble in his wake and put only 4 in the box as they fear his cannon arm!!!

Man giving Dak a new contract is total cap and team SUICIDE!!!!

If you give up that many rushing yards and force zero turnovers. Then you actually lose 96% of games.
The offense played a part in that though. You just can’t go 5 straight possessions with no points against a mediocre defense (with 3 of those possessions being 4 or less plays) and expect that your defense isn’t going to wilt under that. The D was shaky to begin with, then they were shaky and exhausted by half. If the offense even musters 2 FGs in those 5 wasted possessions we probably have a coin flip game in the end despite the poor effort from the D.

22 points in 8 possessions. Do the math.

2.75 pts per possession. That would’ve been good for 4th-best in the NFL this season.

Keep blaming the QB for not winning despite no run game and no defense. It’s hilariously adorable.

I remember your kind when Romo was our QB too.

Luckily for the rest of us, the front office knows how valuable Dak is. He’s not going anywhere.

2 things are a given
We are not going to win with Garrett --- this clown has gotta go
Same said for Dak -- can't throw a deep ball -- so why do we have deep threats (cooper & gallop)
Seriously do what it takes and bring back Romo
That's great!!!!!

Yeah, people like you used to blame Romo too.

“We lost 30-27! Why couldn’t Romo score 30+ without a run game, pass protection or a defense???”

It’s a garbage “point”. No QB wins a Super Bowl without help. The Cowboys passing game was the only unit that played well, and that was mostly thanks to Dak.

The run game and defense were complete garbage.

But yeah, let’s blame Dak for not overcoming those problems and playing a FLAWLESS game on the road against the #2 seed!

SO GLAD the people in charge know better than you do.

Lets blame dak that our offense that is built to run the ball COULD NOT run the ball. Lets blame dak that the defense allowed the rams to dominate the TOP and keep offense on the bench out of rhythm. Lets balme dak that the cowboys were dominated in the trenches on both sides of the ball.....lets blame this whole game on dak because he threw 4 bad passes......

Dak rather sucked totally in the first half except the opening drive. He missed easy throws, looked lost, and helped kill drives. His second half play was better, but that doesn't excuse the fact that he's done this a lot this season. I believe he can improve, but he has to figure out why he's so cold in the first half of games so often.
Some of those points he scored were basically garbage-time stats because they fell behind so far. It wasn't realistic to expect a comeback. Once the Rams hit 30, the game was over because the defense sucked, but the offense maintained it's scoring woes in the first half. You just can't score 22 in a playoff game against the best offense of the year and expect to win. Most of the blame falls on the coaches and the defense, but Dak gets a share too.

He needs to fix that accuracy and whatever ails him in the first half of games pronto. He can do it. It's mostly mental. I believe that he can do it, but he can't be doing what he did in the first half in playoff games and expect to come back to win.

When you miss easy throw to wide open receivers more than once, there's a problem. When you don't see wide open receivers for a lot of the game, there's a problem. He wasn't flawless, but he did better in the second half. It was a team loss, but he gets a share of the blame. Anyone who says otherwise has an agenda. Flawless... right. I didn't realize he made every throw he attempted. Oh wait, he didn't.

I just don't think he should be signed until he's shown that he's worked on those issues.

Right. So the loss is about 90% on the defense and 10% on the offense.

The defense couldn’t get off the field period at any point in the game from the very first drive to the very last.

The defense also played 2 playoff games and forced zero turnovers.

Zero turnovers by the defense won’t win a championship.

Why would Dak resign?

He's got that sweet Pepsi gig.

And the Chunky soup thing as well.

And that was with the running game contributing nothing.

i'm not a dak fan but i try to be fair.

when our D advertises their blocking schemes and the rams take full advantage of it, they are going to tear us up. hang this on coaching for not catching how they were doing it or preparing us to *not* keep our habits that open.
