they both are equally responsible IMO they saw by the half that this was the rams game and continued to get steam rolled, they had time to make adjustments and didnt..giving up 277 yards rushing to 2 players and 30 points but worse 17 in quarter is why we lost..plain and simple..
Negative. You cant give Kris all the credit when things go right and then when they go wrong you try to share the blame.

adjective
  1. having or showing dogged determination not to change one's attitude or position on something, especially in spite of good arguments or reasons to do so.
"a stubborn refusal to learn from experience"

Hopefully this was the last game Marinelli will ever coach for us.

It was NOT fun watching our 4-2-5 nickel defense get steam rolled by the Rams.

What an embarrassing performance by our DC.
So Richard gets all the credit when we win, but Marinelli gets flak for when we lose? Some of you are just plain dumb. Lmao

Right. The Bears laid out the blueprint by not playing nickel vs their 3 wide.

We did what the Rams wanted and expected us to do.

Well were the Cowboys. We don't follow a blueprint. We blaze our own path to glory. Even if it meant burning down our own house. At least we did it our way.

Marinelli is in charge of the Dline. The DTs are overachievers they are quick but not strong. The DT are just not good enough in a playoff setting. The Cowboys have known this or should have known that you cannot pick up undersized DTs and expect to dominate, at best they were getting by. You need to apply resources to that position.

Marinelli has refused since he joined the Cowboys to improving the DTs. Insisting that he wants rushmen at those positions. Unfortunately, the type of DTs that he wants cannot control the line of scrimmage against playoff caliber offensive lines. This not something that was unknown to the Cowboys front office.

There have been a vocal minority on this board that has posted about the DT position for years and insisted that the DT position is a liability and I think that the DT position as constructed right now is not playoff worthy.

I don't know if Marinelli should be fired, but he is the reason that the DT position has failed he needs to take a large share of the blame for this playoff loss.

The DT position needs to be upgraded.

ADJUSTMENTS??? What's that?
Same old Jason Garrett team......No adjustments at halftime. Ever.

Did you miss the Colts game just a couple weeks ago? The front 7 got dominated in that game as well.
Watching the Rams game, it reminded me exactly of the Colts game. I'm sure the Rams watched that game and used the same blueprint. Unbelievable how we didn't make any noticeable adjustments.

Funny thing about Tampa is...they spent TWO 1st round picks on the DT position (HOFer Warren Sapp and multiple SB winner Booger McFarland). That went along with Simeon Rice, HOFer Derrick Brooks, John Lynch and Ronde Barber.

Why Marinelli hasn't asked for more at DT is beside me.
Jerry say's he doesn't need it he gave him a war daddy instead

Richard I believe looked liked he was calling the game. But our front 7 played horrid. I haven’t seen them get thrown around like that all year.

I don’t know if they were getting away with massive holding or if they were just out of gas. Poor tackling and effort. Even our LB weren’t making the plays.

Only when we win! It’s not that hard to follow the narrative, dude.

When Richard is yelling and getting in players faces, he's running the D. When he's not doing that, it's RM running it.

Kris Richard runs the defense. How can you be on sites like this and not know that?

It’s still the Marinelli 4-3 with undersized tackles even though they’re a bit beefier now. He runs the d-line and his squad got their *** kicked
