How has a QB thats been in the league for 3 years hit his ceiling? Did Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, Russell Wilson, etc hit their ceiling after being in the league 3 years? No they didn’t. I want this BS to stop. He’ll get better with EXPERIENCE and ACTUAL COACHING.
Romo, Marino and several others didn't win a championship either.

I don’t think he has hit his ceiling. He improved as this year went on. I don’t know if he will be good enough to be a franchise QB or not. I am guessing he will be signed and paid like one.

He's getting an extension. Might as well root for him to get better. Your eyes will deceive you. He's winning games at a higher clip than Romo. In fact, he's put up the best record in his first 3 seasons than anyone active at the moment.

Where was Zeke's poise under pressure? Bash him.............but NO! Off limts.

The problem with blaming Zeke is simply that the running back position's value is at an all-time low. Running backs don't carry ANY teams in the league. It's too easy to take them out of the game.

Who cares if Dak can't pass the ball, I heard he just needs to run and we'll win every game!

And there is no point in overpaying for Dak when you could find any rookie QB to run and stick to mostly check downs and out routes.

Mahommes looked like hot garbage on anything longer than 15 yards the other day. Brady missed some open receivers or was behind a few the other day. Dak may not be the most deadly passer, but he is ok.

New OC absolutely, DTs, get O line fixed, I'll see then on Dak.

No QB ever won anything playing 1 vs 11. All good QBs need good players around them, that's why its a team sport. I said to myself at least 10 times the other day watching the Patriots, Wow what a great well rounded team. Good plays to keep the defense guessing, which we are horrendous at. We have 3 run plays in one or two formations. Good run game, good defense, good o line, you name it, they are solid and have been forever. So tom Brady has never gone out there and defeated another team alone.

It took us 11 years to find that Romo was a December fader and an interception machine under pressure.
Dak is in his third year. Dak has half of Romo's playoff wins. Dak will eclipse Romo next year in playoff wins.
you and Jerry "next year" always next year.

Or find rb's who get 47 yards.

Today is gone, I'm worried about tomorrow! Get another agenda, he's here to stay. Like it or not, get on board or become a pain in the butt poster.
Young men get matured, quickly...so do quarterbacks, but this one is still green behind the ears...but getting perspective and knowledge of touch. He has to still work upon his mechanics and ball delivery. He's learning.

We should go the college route and just use two QB's during the whole season.

Big arm QB and then crappy arm Dak every other play!

I think we can do it.

If Eli Manning and Joe Flacco have done it and Cam Newton can get to a Super Bowl, I would think Dak can do it, too.

All it takes is proper scheme and a QB coach to clean up his mechanical flaws.
Guys that was years ago other than Cam. Cam is so much more talented than Dak.
There will always be anomalies like the Ravens in 2012 or even Eli in 2007. Remember Eli has never won a playoff game other than 2007 & 2011. Guy has a rabbits foot.
I don’t want to talk about exceptions. Remember we have to focus on process over results in the long term. Yes we went from 3-5 to playoffs but this approach is not sustainable. Don’t address Wr in the offseason and then hope to trade for a young pro bowler. Take the first week of FA off and then hope to build the team. Wake up, we got a bit lucky, our defense played well at times, but coaching and execution got us. Rams o line isn’t the most talented but they outschemed us. Man handled us. It’s embarrsing.

And I predict the Cowboys will lose a large percentage of their fan base because of it. But since JJ is diversified in so many ways, it won't affect his profits at all or his holdings.

You shouldn't take a job as one who predicts things because you'd be out of a job very quickly because your crystal ball must be pretty cloudy. Any "fan" and I use that word loosely, any fan that stops being a Cowboys fan because Garrett is the head coach was just a casual fan or a bandwagon fan to start out with and no big loss. I find it so humorous when someone says a large percentage of fans will stop being fans or do this or that like that person was elected as the head of fans and spokesman for all fans. Go find another team to be a casual fan or bandwagon fan for.
