Any reason to believe Dak era will surpass Romo era?

Dang you're not wise. I'm not rambling about anything. I just answered your question you asked un wise one. Of we said the same thing but your unwise self asked me why I cared and that's when I put I don't so until that point unwise person we weren't on the same thing. Smarten up.
Then dead it. It over. You don’t care how they win I don’t care how they win. Enjoy the Dak ride and keep it moving.

Need I remind you that Tony led the league in QB rating and comebacks in the 4th quarter during most of his tenure in the NFL?

Anyway, this is about the team, not Romo vs Dak, with good enough teams and coaching Dak can take us further than where Tony took us, that in no way says that Tony couldn`t have done it, he just didn`t have good enough teams around him.
Remind me of how playoff appearances and post season wins leading the league in in Qbr got us?

Not gonna argue with you, I just answered your statement about the myth that Romo sucked in the 4th quarter. Facts over myths.

If this dysfunctional organization couldn’t build a good enough team around Romo why do we believe they will around Dak?

Romo had enough talent around him to win the big one. He just wasnt good enough.

Same problem is with Dak. The only difference is that Romo was a good QB and Dak is below average.

Romo won two playoff games. Dak already has half. Yes he will blow away Romo.

We may have more organizational success but in comparison that will be despite Dak and not because of him; whereas, with Romo (more often than not) our success was dependent on Romo being transcendent.

The comparisons here is Romo and Dak. Romo didn’t need an All Pro ol, league leading running back and top 10 defense to make playoffs.

Let’s see . I’d rather have a qb who needs all of this surrounding support or one who elevated those around him? Why are we so attached to Dak?

I'll remind you that in 2014, Romo had a pro-bowl O line that included a healthy T Smith, Leary/Collins, T Fred, Martin and Free. He had a pro-bowl league leading RB named Murray and won 1 playoff game!!! Romo went 8-8 three consecutive seasons before that. He elevated the team to 8-8 in years 2011, 2012, 2013. A further reminder, T Smith, Leary, Fred and Free were all on the O-line in 2013 in addition to an all pro TE, WR and Murray. That's 2/5ths of the O-line intact in 2013, the same percentage as 2018 and he elevated the team to 8-8. Yes, Romo played without Zeke but your claims that Romo elevated the team without a strong O-line and RB are completely bogus. Yes the O-lines in 2011 and 2012 sucked.

Now, let's look at 2007, 2008, 2009 when Romo elevated the team to 1 playoff win behind a different O-line with three pro-bowl players on it. A three headed running attack named Tash, Dash and Crash, and several pro-bowl players on D and won 1 playoff game. Dude, your claim is full of holes.

The bar is 2 wins in the playoffs and Romo had tons of talent around him. I suggest we set the bar higher than what Romo truly accomplished, 2 playoff wins in 10 years

It does. But at the end of the day guys miss receivers all the time.

Of course other QBs miss WRs but the good ones don’t miss wide open WRs as frequently as Dak. What other QBs do doesn’t mean anything to me. Only what Dak does.

Romo had two good enough teams in 2014 and 2007 to go further . 2007 was the true opportunity missed.

But in between while we did we have the offensive weapons and why they were top 10 most seasons never had a top 5 defense. Their offense carried the team. Last time we had a defense ranked this high it carried Quincy Carter to the playoffs.

I agree we should set the bar higher but not until we have achieved a consistent level of success.

I never once said he sucked. I just think Dak is better. Small sample size of course.
Hold it
You think Dak is better than Romo was...even late in his career?
Seriously?

Maybe Im misunderstanding something?

Im not planning to jump into any Dak vs Tony squabble, but just had to ask for clarity.

But if you aren’t aware what other quarterbacks are then what is your gauge for Dak? It’s some unrealistic bar that even Aaron Rodgers can’t reach.

No I think Dak is better at closing games than Romo was at this point in his career.
That’s purely subjective.

I wasn’t a huge Romo fan either but at least he was top 10 most years.

I’d be fine with a 22nd ranked QB if we were winning championships.
