Right now, I'm rooting for Lil'Jordan Humphrey or TJ Hockenson (TE, Iowa) to slip to us at pick 58 or a small trade-up. If those guys were gone, I'd be okay with Iowa State's Hakeem Butler. If we got with a slot guy to replace Beasley and Austin, I like Wake Forest's Greg Dortch maybe as a 3rd and 4th round guy. Tyreek Hill-type potential.

I also like Butler. He's a giant and jump ball king who can run. I don't love the idea of taking a WR that high, but it's hard to riot in the streets over a guy who can help our pathetic red zone offense.

I see him as a 1st rounder though.

Mecole Hardman has my vote in the 4th round

I need to check this dude out, Broaddus and Brugler have been talking about him. Electric athlete that could give us juice in the return and could develop into a solid 3.

I don’t want us drafting WR until the 4th, as it’s much lower in my list of needs.

Another guy to keep an eye on is KJ Hill. Campbell gets all the love at OSU bc he’s a better athlete, but Hill is more consistent as a better route runner with better hands.

Depending how he tests out could move up. Sure looks fast and twitchy. He’s a smart fearless not so utilized instinctual player who catches with his hands in a top conference. Like most slots has problems when defenders puts hands on him. Yes, the return game would be most welcomed.

I’ll have to look at Hill more. So many weapons on the OSU team. Campbell I don’t see making sharp cuts much.

I think the Cowboys will have a tackle staring at them in the second they can’t pass. It won’t be sexy and a defensive tackle in the third. Fourth and fifth round I can see rb and wr given the talent there. Really like the players projected to be in 4th and 5th rounds. Someone like Anderson RB who got hurt might be there in the 4th.

cooper Gallup and deebo would murder teams
Exactly, and Deebo can return kickoffs as well. He can also run the ball. He is built like and runs like a running back. He can run the jet sweep and reverses.

I’m a Deebo fan, but he’s likely a top 50 selection.

Even if he’s available with our 2nd, I’m sure there will be a comparable talent at DT available which is a bigger need.

Unfortunately Hockenson is most likely a mid to late first rounder
