Todd Haley
Hue Jackson

Well the good news Is that if we get Hue Jackson and the offense continues to fizzle ESPN will have a meltdown if they have to be critical of either Jackson or Prescott. This could actually be entertaining. But of course they will blame either Garrett or Jerry.

Kendal Briles -=
He was a 2015 finalist for the Broyles Award, given annually to the nation's top college football assistant coach.

In December 2016, FAU announced that Kendal Briles would be their new offensive coordinator. Head coach Lane Kiffin said Briles will be given "full control" over the offense, including play-calling duties.[4]

In January 2018, Briles became the new assistant head coach, offensive coordinator, and quarterbacks coach at his alma mater, the University of Houston.[5] He resigned this position on December 22, 2018.[6]

In December 2018, Briles became the new offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach under Willie Taggart at Florida State University.

james coley??? ***...that's a new one.

Along the same lines of having ties back to their Miami days, Coley is one outside candidate to be considered. He was recently named offensive coordinator at Georgia after being the co-offensive coordinator for the Bulldogs in 2018. Coley has been with Georgia since 2014 as the wide receivers coach before the promotion. He was with Garrett and Linehan in Miami under Nick Saban from 2005-2006. He moved on to Florida State (his alma mater) and the University of Miami (Fla) before joining Georgia.

Coley’s offense is very similar to what the Cowboys are doing currently. They are a run heavy offense that builds their passing attack off of that. This past season, their offensive splits were 63/37 in favor of the run. They didn’t ask their quarterback to have to carry the load, much like Dallas. Bringing in Coley seems like it could be favorable for Dallas, especially with his ties to Jason Garrett from their time with the Dolphins.

The big question is would the recently promoted Coley leave Georgia to pursue an offensive coordinator position with Dallas? Some feel that Coley is on the fast track to running his own program at the college level. Not to mention the fact that, without knowing if Garrett will be back beyond 2019, does he take the chance on potentially being out of a job a season later? It seems unlikely but he is a name that should be circled for the time being.

Hope Jerry isn't thinking Henry Winkler.

Of course he is.

I wouldn’t mind Todd Monken. He’s an innovator and a really good coach.

I saw him up close at Southern Miss. When he left, it was a big loss.

Doug Nussmeier was brought in by Linehan. Guys like Dooley, that were released last year, were brought in by Garrett.

joe Lombardi and dan campbell… like I said yesterday

Why Lombardi? His only stint as an O-Coordinator wasn't particularly successful. As for Campbell, would going from "Assistant Head Coach/TE coach" to "OC" be a promotion or demotion? I'm also wondering if he would be next in kine for the New Orleans head coaching gig if Payton stepped down in a year or two as some have speculated he might?

•fmr player here.
•Garrett's teammate with nyg.
•we tried to hire him before.

he is the one that makes the most sense to me unless Norv Turner has asked for his release from carolina.
