Going to be hard watching today's games

Knowing we were this close. Not to going lie, I'm jealous, very jealous in fact. I know some say we'll get 'em next time but a year is an eternity in the NFL. So much can happen to change the strength of this team by the end next season. You never know, injuries, bad luck, couple players doing something dumb and we're a 500 team talking about new coach rather than a playoff. Was thinking last night about the 70-80's Cowboys under coach Landry when the playoffs were damn near automatic. As NFL people would say, coach Landry was worth X number wins alone.

I'm hoping/praying every Cowboy player watching today's will hurt a little, appreciating the opportunity they had last weekend. Look in the mirror and challenge themselves to work harder and take their game to next level.

What's it going to be then, eh?

It does not matter to me. We proved we couldn't compete with the Rams. The Saints? Would be incredibly difficult to beat them again. The Chiefs and Patriots would blow us out. The four best teams are there.

I appreciate the fact that the Cowboys won a first round playoff game but reality is they arent even close to being on the same level as that Rams or Saints.Yes they beat the saints during the regular season but so did the bucs. In my opinion the Cowboys dont have the coaching or QB to win an NFC championship game.

It's always hard when the ride stops before the finish line, but not having to bite my nails and worry about the eagles, the steelers, packers or 49ers advancing will make it a little easier. The only anxiety left is for the Chiefs to eliminate the Borg allowing me to enjoy what I hope to be an exciting Super Bowl between the Chiefs and the Saints.

Let's Go Dallas Texans :flagwave:

Ya,and the way they looked in last weeks game was so powerfully ugly it'll likely spontaneously shatter each& every one of those mirrors their casted gaze is glanced off of,in that personally thorough & in- depth of searching far&wide of their inner footballish casing-liner of sportin' moral inventoryo_O

* I'm thinking what yer' asking of them, Hawkeye2x2, prolly won't be considered as an honored request ,worthy of the properly & privileged calibered challenge,,, er,,, like that granted,,, say,,, their bank-rolling, paycheck issuing TOP KICK like our FOOTBALL DAD ,,,ya, now, he could prolly get about a 75 shattered mirror
" Confirmed kill count "
(
of factual verification,no less) were HE was to have stated the likes of yer' requested proclamation,,,ya know?o_O

I'm going golfing. To Hades with these remaining teams. Not watching them. Cowboys need a monster NT/DT, plus a few other new players to take them over the top, especially a much more creative new OC.

This! Been preaching monster DT or DT's since Glover, and they have let the position go thinking all they have to do is stick a 290 pound guy in there and stop the run because they want someone getting pressure on the QB.

Why can’t we beat the Saints? Because they score 50 points per game?

Well they’ve only scored more than 20 twice in their last 6 games. That includes just 20 at HOME vs the Eagles awful secondary.

I think the Rams win today. Donald and Suh collapse the pocket and Gurley/Anderson score enough. 27-23 Rams

I enjoy watching well coached teams going at it. All three games left should be entertaining. Dallas took a step forward and hopefully make a good OC choice to take another step forward.
