Tony Romo has to be the best analyst since John Madden

He likes defense. No kidding,if he were to coach he would choose DC. It’s because he knows how to recognize a offense so well, and enjoys knowing how to defend it. He’s the only guy who beats Dez at Madden all the time. True...Loool.

Hmmm wonder if Romo watches tape on the match up or is he calling this stuff on the fly? Whew can't wrap my head around a former QB sitting with a birds eye view calling some plays based upon how the D is lined up , can't believe this guy ever lost a game.

gotta say is a total stud calling the game. Fire Garrett today and bring in Romo.

Romo as qb coach or Kelly Moore?

How many horrid, loser former Qb’s can we have as coaches?
Romo is making $5-$10 million dollars as the #1 analyst for CBS. Let that sink in and then think about your post.....In fact, just as a general statement, stop and think before all your future posts.

I noticed the same thing, his savant way of making calls that are about to happen. He is a student of the game.

especially like he called out going to Gronk, and then very quickly one of the middle throws to Edelman. Also great on under 30 second use of clock where to throw etc.

Lol @ “he called every play”. The guy is like Nostradamus, he predicts so much that some of it is bound to be true. Sitting around with my friends, a lot of them get it right too. He contributes a lot of knowledge about the game that most don’t but the whole “he’s so smart, he knows whats going to happen every play” is so overblown it’s nauseating.

I’ll be more than happy to get in a live thread next year in a game he calls and point out every time he’s wrong, which is at least the same amount he’s right (if not more) but the Romoholics don’t want to hear and start getting testy. It’s actually quite amusing.

Whatever

Huh? The way he called a game on TV puts him in line to be QB coach for the Cowboys?

Anyway, it’s a lower paying job, requires longer hours, and contradicts his expressed desire to spend time with his kids while they are young ... so sure, why not?

No I actual make fun of Romo a lot. Lol
Than why are you upset about what I said. The guy isn’t right nearly as often as so many make him out to be. As I said, I’ve pointed it out in live threads and would be mkre than happy to do it again but certain people get upset because it destroys their god like image of Tony.

Me wonders if Dakota fans turn the volume off when Romo is broadcasting?
Why? I loved Romo as a player. I was mystified at the criticism. And when Dak came along, I wanted Romo back in once he was healthy. Not because Dak was not doing amazing. I just thought Romo gave us the best chance at that moment, with the team we had built, combined with his wealth of talent and experience. And Dak, no matter how great he was doing, would be very benefited by watching Romo. That did not happen. But I did not throw up my hands and decide to not like Dak without reason. I watched closely and saw his strengths and rooted him on. This year came and at mid season I so wanted us to get a replacement for Dez. Cooper came here and the last half of the season I saw Dak mature and become a leader. Now I am fully on board and think he will win many games in January for the Cowboys. Just this moment, I wish Romo would somehow find the time to become our offensive coordinator now, AND have time for his kids. :) Though I am sure it will at least 5 years out before he decides to coach.
