He does very well breaking down football and talking about the plays to a level to where even the average housewife says “ah ok I understand”. Of course he knows football but unlike other analysts, he spends most of his time talking about the action, the game, the plays, and not an individual’s performance. Coach knight in basketball did the same thing when he analyzes but it’s obvious he is an a$$hole which nobody wants to pay attention to. Tony has lots of charisma, humble, down to earth. Bradshaw, strahan and a couple others are likable, but you’d genuinely would want to go have a beer with romo.

Lol @ “he called every play”. The guy is like Nostradamus, he predicts so much that some of it is bound to be true. Sitting around with my friends, a lot of them get it right too. He contributes a lot of knowledge about the game that most don’t but the whole “he’s so smart, he knows whats going to happen every play” is so overblown it’s nauseating.

I’ll be more than happy to get in a live thread next year in a game he calls and point out every time he’s wrong, which is at least the same amount he’s right (if not more) but the Romoholics don’t want to hear and start getting testy. It’s actually quite amusing.
