You mean Brady? If you want to compare and talk crap about Dak at the same time at least choose one of the QBs that won today. That will give a more dramatic value to this thread.

Adios and good night.
no comparing to Mahomes....goff, and generally good QB play....why are you offended? I take mahomes. with Mahomes, we are in the NFCCG, probably in the superbowl

Brady gets enough protection from his O Line to throw with his feet planted and he's very adept at a tight ball, with great placement . Some of those final passes to Edelman were rockets and right on target... Not bad for an old GOAT
and his average time to throw is 2.61, vs. dak who is 2.85.....not sure what you mean protection. watch brady, how he steps up in the pocket. makes subtle moves, to avoid hits, sacks, strips. so he is helping his OL look good. but that's brady. we have dak...

This is the story of the game.

Chiefs led the league in sacks. They didn’t get one today.

I believe Brady is the best QB ever. But MAN OH MAN does he pretty consistently get awesome
Protection from his OL.
he contributes to that, on how he moves around, makes subtle moves, avoid sacks, hits, etc. its an art. he has eyes in the side and back of his head and how he senses what's going on around him

And Brady's been in the league for 20 years, Dak 3. Can Dak get better at what Brady does?

Unknown at this point, if he doesn't in the next couple of years, he won't ever...

brady won a superbowl in his 2nd year....I doubt if he can get better...his ceiling is limited.

And Brady had Belichick as his head coach. Brady got to sit a year behind Bledsoe and watch. And if Brady had such great pocket presence, able to move around, etc, then why was he a 6th round pick? Brady got better, Dak can too maybe, we'll see...

regardless of where they were drafted, because draft is not an exact science, its more of an educated guess. 1st round picks fail. 6th round picks succeed. no matter how you cut it, brady won a superbowl in his second year. yes, he had bilicheck but at that time no one expected bilicheck to be bilicheck.

we have to wait and see on Dak. in 3 years he hasn't shown much improvement in many areas. as parcells use to say, by your 3rd year you are what you are.

Good point on release time. What I meant is his pocket tends to be cleaner than Daks who has free rushers many times. Great points on the subtlety of his pocket presence when he is pressured , throwing ball away....

Romo even pointed out that on one play he would have to take a hit by the defender to get the ball where he wanted to go to for the best probability of a completion as the D would be coming full force..... Tony is great in that regard as its like us being in the QB's head

One other point re New England.... They have played in some very interesting games either SB against Seahawks, looked like it was over and they get a pick. This game, but for D offsides , an interception and KC runs out clock....

The rabbits foot is there for them even more than Eli.........

this game in essence came down to a defender lining up in the neutral zone. the game was over if he didn't do that....

watchingall the great QB play today...watching mahomes and seeing how he leads a receiver, even on a simple screen... so he doesn't have to slow down , just catch and run at full speed ....and comparing to dak, when he throws...behind a WR, the receiver contorting his body, stopping, reaching back..... even on a simple out or screen pass, then having to regroup, figure out his next move and get tackled for a loss or gain of 1....accuracy is not the location you are throwing the ball, but knowing where to throw the ball. just brings tears to my eyes....we are limited. very limited. how far can we go? not far or perhaps as far as zeke can take us....
He completed 51% of his passes, Dak passed 455 yards on 55 attempts and completed 77% all I read was how inaccurate he was.

A few tear jerkers for ya to choke up on

Check the accuracy on this one. Gives a rise don’t it!

Always hitting the receiver in stride. Never having to break momentum. Check this puppy

Can I get a soft touch young fella! You don’t have to rocket everything. Drop it in there nice and soft! Requires touch

I guess he thought Manute Bol was standing on Wilt’s shoulders

Let the tears flow...

so you are telling me that you take Dak over Mahomes? right?

and btw, throwing in completion percentage as the only measure of accuracy, shows your limited understanding of football. you just don't get it. do you?

Wonder Boy misses throws you would crucify Dak for.

Proofs in the pudding above. Ill have more after I review the Pats tape

Simple stuff. Mahomes isn't quite as good as he was made out to be, and Dak isn't as bad as some make him out to be.

Mahomes is the most talented QB since Aaron Rogers folks. Seen him up close his entire career in college. I’m jealous as hell and I like Dak.
